Many people in the 1860s voted for Abraham Lincoln on his position on the slavery issue alone. Today, many voters consider abortion on demand to be FAR worse than slavery; therefore, they focus on the candidates' views on abortion when considering to whom they will give their support. Is this wise?

If you are really poor and have no real assets, would the courts make you pay for damages in a lawsuit against you.

She was so thrilled when she came home and showed me the video of what she called our baby. Pointing out the arms, legs, head and beating heart. I told her it is not a baby it is only a fetus, nothing more than a clump of cells and not life . She got really upset and started crying. Was I wrong to do that?

I got a message on the internet as follows:
Muni security guards are downtown, (Powell Street),
checking your Proof of Muni Payment or of course your Muni Pass!

I boarded a J Church Train at 24th Street/Church on Saturday, and was waved on by the driver, as he refused to take my fare, his window and gate were closed, I followed his instructions only to be apprehended at Powell Street station, by a Muni employee who didn't listen to my story nor would she or her supervisor check on my story.

I NOW have a court case, don't let this happen to YOU!

The fine could be as much as $500.00!

This happened to a man in San Francisco. It wreaks of systematic corruption. How can he fight it?

1/3rd of the Earth's population lives in those countries.. Please don't tell me that if America would be attacked like crazy, because I've read the 9/11 commision report and I've heard what the CIA, FBI, College Proffesors have said about motives of terrorist. One thing they all agree is that they (the terrorists) didn't commit suicide because America is too free and loving. Its because the American Government is occupying their holy land. If you have ever read a history book about th crusades, you might notice that Muslims don't lke people who occupy Mecca or Medina, in fact they really loathe non-muslims controlling their holiest places. Also they hate the zionists of Isreal and American has been protecting Isreal for years (even though Isreal does have nuclear arms). Also I don't think the terrorists liked it when America bombed IRAQ for ten years prior to 9/11. Open your eyes and see past the "Allegory of the cave" that surrounds you!

It's pathetic, and it's only gotten worse in the past few years.
Families have lost loved ones, unfortunately most of the time, they aren't found alive. These families become desperate and become gullible, which is understandable. Unfortunately money-mongering frauds who call themselves psychics take advantage of them, it is serious emotional abuse.
My question is, is there anything that someone like myself could do to put these people out of business, for the sake of these families, and the prevention of some police departments contacting them?
Thankfully, more recently news programs like Anderson Cooper and 20/20 have aired specials questioning the authentication of psychics.
Please take a look at this video, you'll see the negative impact they leave on these poor, devastated people when they realize they've been deceived. It's sickening, it really is.

Bush lied? Or as the saying goes “when Clinton lied, nobody died” (unless you’re Sudanese or Haitian)

Here is a list of the people who said the exact same thing about Weapons of mass destruction as President Bush. Most of them said this the year before President Bush entered office. Most of them also made the same type of statements leading up to the war under President Bush.

President Clinton
Madeline Albright secretary of state under president Clinton
Sandy Berger, Clinton National Security Adviser also under president Clinton
Sens. Carl Levin
Tom Daschle
John Kerry
Rep. Nancy Pelosi
Sen. Bob Graham
Al Gore
Sen. Ted Kennedy
Sen. Robert Byrd
Sen. Jay Rockerfeller
Rep. Henry Waxman
Sen. Hillary Clinton
George Tenant director of the CIA

Before anyone can call Bush a liar they would need to explain why all these political enemies of GWB were saying the exact same things as president Bush?

And why would President Bush know, what no one else seemed to know, that Saddam Hussein’s suicidal policy to not to provide weapons inspectors proof that he had destroyed his chemical weapons, as required by the agreement he signed at the end of the first Gulf War. Was not being done to hide his weapons, but was all about some, as yet unknown point of pride.

To say the words Liar you need more than saying he was wrong.

Hello
Does anyone have experience in getting a short-term Schengen visa in his/her travel document (i.e. reentry permit)?
French refuses to stamp one in the travel document even though it's an option on visa application. And I heard people actually get visas in other embassies (Germany).
Any help is appreciated!!!
