People from the Middle East have shown they have the ability & the smarts. People only choose to create wealth when they see a future in their area.

It appear they choose to advance their advertising needs more than their humanitarian redirect.

So...last Saturday, I got food poisoning, I was hugging the toilet all night...and I had to go to work at 9:30 a.m. Obvoiusly I called work at about 8a.m and told them I was sick. They made me come in anyways. I work at a very popular restaurant in Hollywood, worked for about 5 hours, had costumers complain because they could tell I was sick...a total show.
My manager got mad at me after I told him that I was leaving. I threw up at work 4 times and I was DONE!
Is it actually legal to make someone come in even though they called sick? I tried to look info online but can't find anything.
I would love to get answers quick since my boss wants to have a talk with me today...about sunday...anyways, thank you so much!!

I truly did not make this to be offensive AT ALL, nor racist or anything like that. I'm just saying...They blew up one of our biggest landmarks, and now they think that they can live here...why are they here? Are they here because they're sick of Iraq or whever they lived? or are they here to blow us up too? My neighbors are arabian and they are really really nice. Like I said earlier, I'm not trying to be mean at all, I'm just wanting them to realize that they just blew up our towers and now they just migrate into US...So...I mean, my main question here is

Why are they here all of a sudden?

Thanks

Hello, so I was in a journalism class and we had to come up with an original product to market. We decided on a cell phone that would have a feature never before thought of in relation to cell phones. We were so inspired by it that we then thought the cell phone companies might come up with some type of variance of this feature. The Question: How does one go about copyrighting a cell phone feature? If one can that is. I went onto copyright.gov and found nothing in relation to improvements on product, only literary and visual works. I am uncertain because it is simply an improvement on a product already being used. Any answers that can help point me in the right direction are appreciated. Thanks!

The other night I called the police because my neighbors band was playing until 9 or 10 at night. They said that they weren't going to send anyone out because it is a low income area and they don't want to cause undo hardship. I have called multiple times and I keep getting the same answer.

Records? You pledged to do that 20 months ago, but we haven't seen them yet. Should someone bring you the form to sign? Hmmmm? I'm sure it's just slipped your mind. I'll get all my friends to send you a reminder.

Ron Paul was (some will say IS) an absolutely fringe candidate with little hope of success. But he's developed a devoted base, raised a lot of money, and a lot of interesting questions, some of which flies in the face of conventional GOP wisdom. Do you think his campaign's success will be noticed by the RNC? And if so, do you think it will result in any changes to the platform (maybe back to true fiscal conservatism)? Keep in mind that the socialists never won any elections, but by threatening the democrat's base they got their entire platform enacted. Can Ron Paul and his predominantly Libertarian base do the same?

We know that people from certain countries are abusing our hospitality. A large percentage of the people from those countries create a tremendous amount of crime. A large percentage don't pay their hospital bills, or they make babies just to avoid being deported if they are here illegally, or they drive here illegally without licenses, or they drink and drive (which in many case results in deaths of Americans), or they avoid paying taxes, or they drink in public, or they form gangs, or etc..

I've just read that Bush's approval rating has declined to 30%. I've heard before that approval ratings do indeed matter but I forgot the reasoning behind this. President Bush will be leaving office next year, so why would it really matter about his approval rating. Does anyone know why his approval rating still matters at this point? My guess is that it would hurt republican chances in the coming elections next year. But is this the only reasoning?

eg, If a million people got in the street and protested the war, or same sex marriage, or wahatever--would anyone listen? It seems they are 100% partisan and care more about the lobbyists, etc than doing the will of the people. There are no independent free thinkers, just sheep to the will of their party?

You wealthy neighbor who has a treasure trove full of things like gold bars and other high priced things you can think, leave his door unlocked constantly and also says to others I will leave my door unlocked and if you want anything you can come int and take it no questions asked. Isn't this similar to illegal immigration does this mean the US shares a portion of the blame for not watching it's "door" and then telling people to just come in.
