Another answer as to why we are in Iraq, the control of oil in that Country. What angers me is that our military (troops) are sacrificing their lives for a lie. I understand it's an expansion but I also understand it's all about money at our expense.

You have misread the link. The vice president for the eastern hemisphere is moving to the eastern hemisphere. Says so right in the story. The main headquarters will remain in the US.

If you think about it, it makes sense to leave the headquarters in the US. Becoming a foreign company will loos them HUGE government contracts.

It's certainly a smart move on their part. It makes suing them and serving warrants on officers that much difficult. And it certainly won't eliminate the political favoritism that occurs with them.

Well, this is old news Edge. Yes I was surprised when I heard this. I guess it's a lot harder to question them under US law, but apparently they still pay us taxes.

I think this is disgusting, is Haliburton going to outsource the Presidency of Haliburton?

They stated that since most of their business is in the Middle east it will actually save them money being closer to their work. They still have contracts with the US and they are still under obligation to fulfill the terms of the contract. So whether they are here or there, makes no difference.

All only if things were as simple as you make them out to be.

I guess you didn't read the article you posted.
