we are trying to get our tricare information but we arent enrolled and it says that my husband wont be able to until he comes off of EID or TAMP, he is reserve currently attending tech school? so if we arent enrolled but it says we are covered by tricare? what does that really mean?

A reservist that is on active duty for training has health benefits, however the dependents do not. If he is activated and deployed then he is in active duty and you become eligible.

dependents of reservists are not eligible for Tricare benefits unless the Servicemember is activated for more than 30 days. School/training does not count.

he is covered while in uniform.. so schooling and drill days.
