It's pathetic, and it's only gotten worse in the past few years.
Families have lost loved ones, unfortunately most of the time, they aren't found alive. These families become desperate and become gullible, which is understandable. Unfortunately money-mongering frauds who call themselves psychics take advantage of them, it is serious emotional abuse.
My question is, is there anything that someone like myself could do to put these people out of business, for the sake of these families, and the prevention of some police departments contacting them?
Thankfully, more recently news programs like Anderson Cooper and 20/20 have aired specials questioning the authentication of psychics.
Please take a look at this video, you'll see the negative impact they leave on these poor, devastated people when they realize they've been deceived. It's sickening, it really is.

Well believe it or not, some psychics have been quite successful in police investigations and missing person cases. The police departments usually know whom to work with when these cases come about, and they hit a wall. I would suggest that they not just choose a random one. When all else fails it's not always a bad idea.

Gosh, I did not see this question the day before today however I have got to say that if a Christian is understood through his culmination then I do not see how Mr. Obama would probably be a Christian. So the one factor I can determine is, he needed to do some thing to cool down all of his supporters who did not like Rick Warren being a side of the inauguration. I suppose Rick Warren is simply being utilized by him, too, however I desire he has the braveness to wish in Jesus' identify like Franklin Graham did (while Mr. Bush was once sworn within the final time). He was once notable. God bless!

If the family chooses to go to a psychic - it's their choice to do so. They are adults and can make choices for themselves. And as adults they can hire a psychic if they choose.
