I have a photograph of my grandmother taken in 1947. It is a professional photograph of her, but I have no idea where she had it taken or who took it.

I'm doing a book through self publishing for some family members and the contract with the publisher says I have to have all applicable copyright waivers from any photographers unless I own the rights to the photograph.

Where do I start?

In March 2005 the Coalition of Immokalee Workers pressured Yum!, a company selling agricultural goods to businesses such as Taco Bell to increase worker’ wages. Workers were given 40 cents per 32 pound bucket of tomatoes. These wages are the same as they were 30 years ago. Many workers were incarcerated, and beaten. The CIW was able to free 1,000 workers by forcing an increase in wages and rewriting the terms of slavery in Yum!’s supplier code of conduct.

Then in late 2005 the news started to change but still only filtered to what they wanted you to see.

In the Congressional-Senate elections they played their hand to the Democrats helping to fool America that changes were coming.

Now they use Bush in the negative light and show him veto everything and acting like a madman on his way out.

So what do they do - they play into Hillary and try and prop her up on the golden Presidential throne.

Why - to fool America into giving them another 4-8 years to continue this New World Order quest

They are both one and the same!

They have their little party agendas to look like they are different but they are just the right hand and the left hand on the same evil body!

Our Nation cannot survive another 4-8 years of this insanity!

Don't be fooled by Hillary - even when they have Obama join her!

Both the Republicans and the Democrats are controlled by the same force that drives the Bush administration!

Vote for an American

Anyone with a legal background available to comment?

What constitutes "aggravated assault"? If someone beat someone else to a bloody mess using only their hands, but stated during the "beating" that they didn't intend to stop until they "were finished", what kind of charges could be expected against this person?

FYI: This is a domestic situation and one person was jailed. I'm suprised the other made it out alive.

In past elections there were allegations of voting irregularities.
To prevent this during the upcoming local election, the local Registrar of Voters is requesting that all voters take a laxative the night before election day.

Everytime somebody disagrees with Bush or America's foreign policy they are quick to label that person anti-American and pro-terrorist.

Let me ask you this cons:

Supposedly the government can't do anything right, so why is it you seem to believe our government's foreign policy is always right?

My doctor placed me on a permanent partial disability with work restrictions. According to these work restrictions, my former employer does not have any work for me. If I go work somewhere else making less money, then does worker's comp continue to make up the difference of the loss in pay that I was receiving at my former job? This really sucks because the job I might end up with might not have medical benefits, but I definitely don't want the cut in pay! I didn't ask for this injury!!!

Curious - someone hits me and takes off. The cops come. I don't even get an accident report. When I call the next day to get some info, they say that it won't even be assigned to an officer for a week! A lot can happen in a week - like the guy that hit me could have his car fixed and deny everything! Why are cops like this?? Why are they not interested in helping?

The last few Years I have been thinking about joining up, but now I have made up my mind. Currently 20 years old (i'll join after I turn 21) and single. Navy caught my attention, I think I will love the life at sea in the Navy (grew up near San Francisco) . As I said I will definitely either go in as a MA or Cook in the Navy, I currently am planning on becoming a Police Officer after I serve my time, hell if I love it I make even make a career out of it.

Im tring to find some unbiased opinions on each of these jobs. I will NOT go into the Army or Marines so please avoid those comments, I have no interest in being infantry, and im not much into technical jobs (mechanics, etc). I do plan on talking to a recruiter next year but want some non recruit opinions, but want to know if you enjoyed your time in Navy. Will I have the opportunity to go out on deck and night and relax watching the sea? What about going in as a Cook? Will I have room to grow in the Navy starting as an E1?

The township wants us to get rid of grandmothers trailer now that they realized she died four years ago. I use the trailer as a computer room and TV room to watch the games, wrestling, or boxing matches on. They claim it is illegal to have an un-occuppied trailer in the township. Yet the laws states no trailer can be in the township occuppied or unoccuppied with out a permit: which I have.

I am just curious as to how you determine that a whole group in society is evil or that you hate a whole group of people without knowing them? I slam Bush and some others on here, but I also have a lot of friends and a family that is mostly conservative. I would love to know how the people on here who say all liberals or all conservatives are destroying America came to that conclusion?

So last night my fiance and I were out driving, we decided to get something to eat. We are driving up a 4 lane road and I see this silver jetta speeding towards us and I'm thinking to myself, that guy's gonna cause and accident...well sure enough, he hasn't gotten 3 blocks past us and smashes into to someone making a left turn. Now I saw him speeding (the limit was 60km/hr, he had to be doing at least 80, even though I don't have a radar gun to prove it), I saw the person that was turning but didn't actually see the collision. Should we have stopped to be witnesses????????

I ask this because the number of people they supposedly killed keeps climbing every year.

First it was 20 million, then 50 million, then 300 million, and now according to some con in the "billions."
