I cant realy tell another person what is right, and what is wrong for them. I dont know your life story, or your religion, or lack there of, and stuff. Your ethics. I dont know your ethics. I know mine though, and you know yours.
When I am tempted to do somthing that my brain, or my ethics think is wrong,
Sometimes I do it and then subconsiously punish myself,
and Sometimes I dont do it, then sit around wishing I had.
So,
I cant escape,
Maybe you can, but Today I feel like an exostensionalist so I'll say, "It doesnt Really Matter" (The Stranger)
another day I might be a Christian and say, "dont do it"
while another day I might be an american and say, "If I dont do it, somebody else will"
but, I'm actually an alien, and I dont realy care what you do, but I'd like to make it easier for you by complicating the issue.

First, just because the last saved file was from 2006, does not mean it had been in the garden for a year. What if no one used it for a year and dropped it off in your sister's garden 11 weeks ago.

Second, if it is lost property and you know who the owner is, you should return it. Isn't that what you would want someone to do for you?

my first question is "how do you know it was stolen"?

and second --if you lost yours wouldnt you want it back?

The Right thing to do is to return it to the legal owner...and NO life does not work on "finders keepers".

I believe in Karma. What you do, will come back to visit you 10 times fold later. Example....if you keep this computer (which is the wrong thing to do)..you will receive bad luck or vibes, or karma....maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow...but eventually bad things will come to you.

Return the comuter...please.

good luck :)

You should contact them immediately - the person may just want the hard drive or the data on it.

You know the answer to that. It's their property, give it back.
