They'd make a lot more with all the tax money they'd get if it were legal, but for some reason they think it is more dangerous than alcohol. A big, fat lie.

Primarily -- it's the drug companies that are profitting, because they can sell pharmaceuticals that duplicate many of the effects for far more profit than they would get if pot were legal.
And the drug companies have lobbyists, who ensure the Congress continues to vote in the best interest of the corporations.

DEA. they get to use the proceds ( money )of any drug dealer they bust to chase more drug dealing pigs. So you could say they profit from it.
