Why did we go to war with Iraq. It wasn't over WMD's, nor was it because they were in connection with Al Qaeda. What is our winning strategy over there, the one that will turn Iraq into a democratic nation and relegate our troops to a support role behind the Iraqi military. Why aren't we actively hunting down Bin Laden, the perpetrator of the 9/11 attacks, yet we have found and executed Saddam? I don't want a general "Democrats are Communists" answer, I just want to know what you people are thinking.

Amid the chaos and confusion that engulfed New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina struck, a congressman used National Guard troops to check on his property and rescue his personal belongings -- even while New Orleans residents were trying to get rescued from rooftops, ABC News has learned.

On Sept. 2 -- five days after Katrina hit the Gulf Coast -- Rep. William Jefferson, D-La., who represents New Orleans and is a senior member of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, was allowed through the military blockades set up around the city to reach the Superdome, where thousands of evacuees had been taken.

I allowed a loser to move in with me because they needed a place to stay. It was not for free, he agreed to help me with bills and rent. However, he quit his job, and is now expecting me to take care of everything under the sun. I WANT HIM OUT OF MY HOUSE IMMEDIATELY.

Aside from changing my locks which I plan to do tomorrow morning, how can I legally get him out of my house without any negative ramifications (for me). He threatens me by telling me that Georgia law states I can not just put him out. And now, the days are rolling by and he thinks he has it made because the law is on his side.

I live in Atlanta Ga. In an apartment which has MY name on the lease. I just want him to get his things and go. Should I get the police involved? I want it to be as drama free as possible but because he is has no where else to go, he will try to find a reason to make me his permanent couch sponsor. Can some one please help me with some LEGAL advice? Thank you so much.

Has it become obvious yet that ANY measurable success we have in Iraq equals failure for the left? Ever since John Kerry woke up in early 2004 and decided to be an anti-war candidate, all the left has done is insist on withdrawl, failure, retreat, and insisted that Iraq can't be won. Just this week General Petraeus gave a report indidcating measurable success as a result of the surge, and what do democrats do? They call him a liar! So should it be any real surprise that any success or progress we make in Iraq only makes democrats look bad? Kinda makes you wonder why ANYBODY would support a political party that WANTS our country to fail.

I know who members are, how many each state has and why they have that many, but what i don't get is winning states. Like you always hear, "if he wins Ohio (or florida, or california, etc)...." But what does it mean by win? Does it mean when you get a majority of a state that has...say, 11 votes and you get 6 you get all 11? or you get 6 and the other gets 5?

I've been having some serious problems with the police here in my home town and I wanted to know if anyone knew who I can talk to as far as getting something done about it. A crime was committed against me and the detective who worked on the case botched the job while doing the investigation, when I confronted him about it he continued to lie about what he did or didn't do while handling my case. On top of that every single cop that I spoke to has helped cover the mistake and lies of the detective and done nothing to help me find justice. I have spoken to the prosecuting attorney's office about taking my case to trial and she said they still could but the detective said that he didn't do anything about it because I didn't send him information, which I have documented proof that I did. Friends have suggested that I write to the Governor and the mayor to see if their office can do anything about it as my case can still go to trial. Can I also write my congressman and/or state senator?

Does this information go on a CRB check in the UK, if they say, take your name. And you're not searched or taken in, they just want to know what you're doing (in my case waiting for a lift home whilst intoxicated). Its important for work reasons. I'm not sure what information I gave them but I did panic, told them to stop bugging me, and ran off.

Would you say money is worth to go and work at a California State Prison? How it is the environment in the inside for Correctional Officers? I am planning on transfering from the County Sheriffs department to the State Prison, would that be a good idea just for money or not? I currently work in investigations. Thank You.

My son has recieved an " Other than Honorable discharge" he is serving 60 days restriction now, and when that is done he will be sent home. He is guilty of bad decisions that have hurt no one but himself, no criminal activity.

He has been in almost two years. He just turned 20. Where does he go from here, will his life be ruined because of this?, how will he get a job that does a background check?

After he sighned up, about a month or so before he was to leave he said he changed his mind, he did not want to go, but we pushed him hard and he went, it seemed all was well, little did I know how miserable he really was, I feel terrible that I may have caused this for him and now he will pay the price for the rest of his life. How do I help him now?

I know people in this area that find out he didnt make it are gonna ridicule him and it just breaks my heart..

He's a good kid, he just dosent think sometimes.

thanks.

Who will the Dems target next, in their quest to make Bush look bad? Will it be this guy?

Seems if Bush won't do what the Dems want, they will continue to target his administration with bogus accusations and character assasinations. Like Scooter Libby. All the while they allow their own members like William Jefferson to run amok.

John Adams(the 2nd US President) said "Our Constitution is for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the governing of any other". Was he speaking to the throngs of irreligious, atheists, satanists and hedonists that are swelling our society attempting to choke off the rights off a few fervent moral and Christian people? Was he worried even in the 18th century that society would move away from Jesus and embrace all things Jesus warned us about? Are our founding fathers turning in the graves knowing how many are turning their backs to God and thus morality??? Waiting for the atheist secularists to claim Washington , Franklin and Thomas Jefferson as one of their own. Please. Do atheists, satanists, hedonists and secularists take credit for moral and societal decay we are currently experiencing? Is your irrational hatred of Bush espoused from your irreligious lens you see the world in?
