If this had been done by Senator Orrin Hatch or Rep. Ron Paul the socialist media would have run the story all over the evening news and news papers until they were forced from office. As has been noted a liberal has no moral values so when they do these things; murder, rape, homosexuality, robbery, lying, etc there are no repercussions because this is normal behavior.

However, when conservatives (largely Republicans) who run for office espousing a higher moral code and fighting corruption get caught in their peccadillos (sins) they are drawn and quartered as hypocrites (because they are).

Beginning with the passage of the 16th Amendment which allowed Congress to directly tax individuals, instead of billing each state for needed funding, thus allowing an unlimited source of tax funding, the Congress has been on a spending spree. Congress has become the foremost criminal organization in the world. Taking tax money under the threat of imprisonment or loss of personal property is legal plunder or extortion. The buying of votes by welfare and pork barrel spending is no less that bribery. What would you call taking money from organizations to fund your re-election? Bribery or extortion?

I am a right wing conservative and i find none of this acceptable. I am also a realist and don't see in change for the better coming because most of our population is ok with socialism and immorality.

No one is defending Jefferson but his attorney.
That is the difference between the right-wing and the left.
Right-wing will defend their boys no matter what they do.

in reality liberals can't wait until he is convicted and removed from office, so your type will have one less thing to cry about.
Personally, I have already emailed him suggesting he get it done sooner rather than later.

I think you need to read this and count the numbers of cons vs dems. Then let us know what's "acceptable" to the right.
