I fear for there safety and are budget but why put all that when its going to be trashed again by another hurricane same with the wtc why build it to be another target for terrorist again.

This happened about 10 miles from where I grew up. LOL

ABBOTSFORD, Wis. — Police cited a legless man and his friend with drunken driving _ the third and second such arrests for the men, respectively _ saying the disabled man was at the wheel while his friend worked the pedals.

Harvey J. Miller, 43, was steering the 1985 Chevrolet truck and Edwin H. Marzinske, 55, was operating the pedals when they were pulled over Aug. 18, according to a police report.

Miller, who was sitting in the driver's seat, told officers he had too much to drink, but argued he wasn't really driving since Marzinske was on the brake and the accelerator, police said. Marzinske was arrested on the same charge.

Miller received a citation for a third drunken driving offense, and Marzinske his second. Both also were cited for driving after their licenses had been revoked.

Any police have comments? How long would the paperwork on this one take?!

They been forcing to get God out of our pledge schools workplaces ect. Soon if you say God you be force to go to jail thanks to them.

I mean what qualifications do you need? How do you become one? Is it hereditory or do you have to spend x amount of years as a barrister and then kiss the right boots in the House of Commons (or Lords).
They arent elected by the public, we know that. But where do they come from that some of them are so out of touch with modern society that one recently asked 'What is the internet'?

Are the survivors of hurricane Katrina just whining? Or, are they being treated differently because many are black? Did FEMA screw up? Did they help enough? Were funds disbersed unfairly? Or, were funds used wrongly by the survivors? You have heard of hurricane hugo, I am sure, as well as others that have hit the Atlantic coast, did those places have similar problems after the storms? Or, is it that our government cares more about what other countries think of us than it's own people who were born and raised here? Should our government keep letting in foreigners and give them money to start here, should we still be in Iraq, should we let people sneak over the borders to come here, should we be helping other countries when a sunami hits them? What about our own people that are good and deserve help here in this country (USA)? (I am not talking about the ones who live here who are lazy, alcoholics or drug addicts, etc.)

Look at the discussion about healthcare and immigration. The dog-in-the-manger attitude is incredibly widespread, at least if you go by the answers on this site.

My husband is a SGT in the US Army and recently had to deploy to Korea. He is trying to get Command Sponsorship for me so I can go live with him. He was told that I can go live with him even without the command sponsorship and get an apartment off post. Anyone out there living in Korea this way? Do you think its a good idea? Can I take my 1 yr old Boxer dog with me? I am in Puerto Rico right now with my family... how do I get my passport? What documents do I need to get a passport? I know there's a lot of questions but I really need answers. I will apreciate any kind of help and valuable info. Thanks.

I do not believe that he did anything wrong because he was in a stall, and someone else was in another stall. I do believe people go out of their way to set up certain politicians for personal or party gain. Why did the officer not allow him to advance sexually to the point where it was an obvious inappropriate sexual contact? He did not touch or ask for sex. Also, why would an officer go into a stall in a restroom? Why not stand and act as if he is using the urinal? After all, he wanted to catch men cruising in the restroom, right? It simply does not add up for me. Everyone wants this man to be caught in a homosexual act, especially the gay community. The democrats are also looking for an escape goat. Always remember, the last four letter in the word d e m o c r a t s is "rats." If you changed the "c" to a "n", it spells demon. This is exactly what they are acting like. I am an independent, but this is going too far. Hillary day is coming, and it will be JUICY!!

It is often said that women would like their husbands to do more housework.

What would happen if the women simply did less?

How dirty would the house become before the husband pitches in more? Is there anything unhealthy or illegal about letting a house get dirtier? Or are houses kept so clean to keep a woman "satisfied" and full of pride?

Men who live on their own do 100% of the housework. They do NOT go to jail for living in totally unacceptable conditions.... even though they may not keep their house as clean as a single woman might.

I haven't seen any single dads go to jail because their kids starve to death or don't have clean clothes.

Maybe I'm asking whether women are trying to impose their higher standards of "clean" onto the marriage. Is that right? Is that a sign of someone trying to impose "control"?
