ok scenerio:
husband and wife married for about 7 mo. gets preg.
couple goes back home to visit family on leave.
everything is fine until time to go back to duty station.
husband HAS to report back at a certain time. Depature time comes and wife is nowhere to be found. Finds a letter that shes leaving him! He is active duty so what does he do? His only options are either to take the baby back with him or leave him with a relative temporary until the divorce is final. Wife has no concern to uphold custody for the child.

Question: What happens with husbands military career?
does he get discharged? he'd be a single parent and unwilling to go for day care as he works long days and early morning. realistic answers only please. this man really needs to know what the outcome is. he really wants to be able to raise his baby. where he is stationed he has no family close, closest family is 29 hours away...

I won a good prize in a competition run by a national newspaper. They phoned me on Tue 17 Jul 2007 to tell me I'd won and my prize would be sent out within 28 days. They've published my name in the list of prize winners, but they haven't sent the prize.

Today is 44 days since they told me to allow 28 for delivery of my prize. I phoned to ask about it after the 28 days had come and gone and they said they hadn't dealt with it yet, but would be doing so very soon. I'm still waiting.

Can anyone tell me where I stand, legally, on this issue?

Bush Sr for being old witha short wife.

I've always felt that the chances of getting shot would greatly increase if you own a gun or keep a gun in the home. Does anyone have any actual stats on this or know where I might be able to find them?

I offer as evidence

A Kansas farm wife called the local phone company to report her
telephone failed to ring when her friends called and that on the few
occasions, when it did ring, her dog always moaned right before the phone rang.

The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this
psychic dog or senile lady. He climbed a telephone pole, hooked in his test set, and dialed the
subscriber's house. The phone didn't ring right away, but then the
dog moaned and the telephone began to ring. Climbing down from the pole, the telephone repairman found:
1. The dog was tied to the telephone system's ground wire with a
steel chain and collar.

2. The wire connection to the ground rod was loose.

3. The dog was receiving 90 volts of signaling current when the
number was called.

4. After a couple of jolts, the dog would start moaning and then
urinate.
5. The wet ground would complete the circuit, thus causing the phone
to ring.

Which demonstrates that some problems CAN be fixed by pissing and
moaning.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Charges: The dark master of the White House, Cheney strikes fear into the blackest of hearts. Only surfaces occasionally to nod and grunt at a reporter from Fox News, the only station he ever sees, before returning to the White House boiler room to continue planning the apocalypse. Almost certainly ignores everything Bush says. Vindictive and secretive to the point of absurdity, Cheney has his heart set on total global hegemony, and doesn't really care if you know it.

Exhibit A: How evil does a guy have to be for his buddy to apologize for getting shot in the face by him?

Sentence: A 30-year vacation at Gitmo.

Prostitution, drugs, gambling… in the interest of freedom and free enterprise, why should these things be largely illegal? Or am I going to get the Republican line "freedom isn’t free" or "you can’t have that much freedom"?

Aren’t these things just legislated morality?

Hillary gave 1 million to charity when she "discovered" that the donor was a criminal. One million dollars is more than most people will see in their life time.
I'm not just picking on Hillary, it's all candidates. What has happened to our country when candidates have to spend that much money to even run for an office? Then they complain about poverty, healthcare, and hunger. Sounds very hypocritical to me.

Ok, I know it's a hard thing to do.

But what is the step to take to create or change the laws??
What can we do ?

Or how to create a new fondation ?

I will tell you my goal.
Like you know there is lot's of junk on internet... Pedophilia websites, internet piracy (music, movie, game, software etc...)
Drug sell on the net, Illegal Firearm selling website.

I will like to create (even if it's a huge goal that concern lot's of thing) to create a fondation that will simply search websites that are illegal and (here is the complex thing) shut it down the public access to this website with the webhosting or the internet provider access give to the site.

Thank You!

That would stop Anchor babies cold. If the woman comes in, ready to deliver and can't produce proper papers, two burly INS agents should be sitting in the waiting room. If the baby gets a US Birth Certificate, it comes at the cost of BOTH mother and child having to leave the country as soon as both are stable. The child will have the unpaid hospital bill attached to his records and will have it collected at the border upon his future return to the US after the age of 18. Simple emergencies such as colds (yeah, right!) will still require picking up that phone. Have your card ready and if it doesn't check out, either leave or we call the INS and THEY permit you to be treated. But after that, you'll have to go with them for a discussion about your current address.

Why don't we just GO for it? Cut the crap and go straight to what we need in time of crisis. We should draft an amendment. State categorically what we want stopped concerning illegal immigration, anchor babies, multiple offenders to our immigration laws, illegals that commit secondary crimes crimes and ALL the other things we're needing to settle. Then we should vote on it. No matter who is in office, this needs to be drawn up, approved and applied. It should be in black and white, plain language that anyone can understand. No illegal crossing of our borders, jail and fines for knowingly hiring illegals, no social services for illegals except in custody awating deportation, babies born here must return WITH deported parents. Law enforcement WILL co-operate with INS upon encountering a suspected illegal alien.
Sanctuary Cities will immediately "cease and desist" their welcoming tactics of illegals. Here's the catch. We need a fool proof ID CARD. It is TIME! We're being invaded.
