Charges: The dark master of the White House, Cheney strikes fear into the blackest of hearts. Only surfaces occasionally to nod and grunt at a reporter from Fox News, the only station he ever sees, before returning to the White House boiler room to continue planning the apocalypse. Almost certainly ignores everything Bush says. Vindictive and secretive to the point of absurdity, Cheney has his heart set on total global hegemony, and doesn't really care if you know it.

Exhibit A: How evil does a guy have to be for his buddy to apologize for getting shot in the face by him?

Sentence: A 30-year vacation at Gitmo.

There are far more laothsome people in the U.S. than Dick Cheney. He hides out because he doesn't want to be harrassed. He isn't really power hungry. He already has all the power he will ever need. He has plenty of money too. He is just waiting to sit back and retire.

I like how u put ur question and it sounds like that dirt bag Cheney, rising out of his hole to make life miserable for Bush,to make him look like a fool which does not take much to do and than returning to the hole he came out of.
As for ur question I can go back to the Kennedy, administration and the worst during that era was Richard Nixon,I mean he was bad the things he did during that time in history almost can be compared to that bald eagle that is the Vice-President I mean they could be brothers if u think about it I can compare the two and if u were around during that time of Nixon, you'd know what I mean.
And to have someone apologize to him after he shot them in the face publicly I mean how low can you go the man gets shot by that bum and he apologizes what in the world is that I'd be suing that heart pacer bald headed fool not apologizing for sure.

You should not form an opinion by watching the news and reading papers. His permanent home is here in Jackson WY where I live. He spends many days here through out the month and is a very quiet but great person. Just because he does not live in the lime light and does not like interviews does not make him a bad person. I live in the west and the accidental hunting shot actually happens all the time. He is just being ridiculed for it because he is someone to put on the news. He is a very laid back guy who likes to ski, socialize, family and loves to fly fish.

Nope, he's not great, but there are much worse.

Just look at the late Jerry Falwell or Al Sharpton. Either of those are far worse. Look at the nutso Phelps people, they fall into that category too.

Two modifications to your question:
Dick Cheney is THE most loathsome person in the nation.
And, Cheney has not heart. -RKO- 08/30/07

Sentence: Cheney will spend eternity in a special oil-soaked, blood-stained corner of Hell reserved for him, his buddies at Exxon-Mobil, Don Rumsfeld and George W. Bush.
Also included in that special reservation will be all 535 members of the most arrogant, cowardly, incompetent, corrupt Republican-led Congress that stood by and did nothing while Bush ran rip shod over our Constitution.
Also included in that special reservation will be all 535 members of the most arrogant, cowardly, incompetent, corrupt Democratic-led Congress that stood by and did nothing after promising to end this insane, immoral, insipid, illegal, unconstitutional 'war' in Iraq.

That's quite an imagination you've got there...the likes of which can be found in the book section of your local grocery store.

BTW the answer to your question is: no.

Have a nice day!

Cheney might be the only man in the US Government that I actually like and respect. If only he were president, the last 6 years might not have been so liberal...i.e., we may have fought the war on islamic psychotics in a proper manner (by dehumanizing our enemy).

No, I don't think he is the most loathsome person in the country. He's definitely loathsome, but when you consider some of the really atrocious people in this country, then he is barely a blip on the radar screen.
