Because they aren't Christians. Liberals hate Christians, so they place restrictions on things like prayer rooms in public buildings (most airports have prayer rooms for Muslim cab drivers at airports), imagine a Christian prayer room where you work.

I wasn't aware that they are exempt from our "rules," unless you are talking about the Muslim woman who objected to removing her facial veil for a driver's license picture.
If there are exemptions, I am unaware of them. I think they are expected to follow our laws, just like the rest of us average citizens. Only the president seems to be able to break laws whenever he wants.
The only Middle Eastern immigrants who caused some trouble here in Detroit were the Chaldeans, who are Christian, not Muslim, and were given low-interest loans to buy up businesses like party stores, etc. Michigan National Bank was having trouble with losses when these loans were defaulted and it was discovered many debtors had put the money into their personal homes, etc.
Our Muslim group in Dearborn are a well-behaved lot, with few problems, other than an uproar about using the community siren as a call to prayer five times a day. Some felt that this went against the Separation of Church and State.
Once in a while, there is a show of hatred, red paint on houses and garages, etc., between the Shiites and the Sunni there, but these episodes are very rare.
The Middle Easterners in Dearborn have been subjected to several interrogations by the FBI and a few of them accused of sending financial help to charities connected to Al Queda.

This question is not that clear...but I will say this....Anyone should have the right to express their religion here. But I do have a problem when Muslims are allowed to pray at work or at school because of their beliefs....but Christians are always told not to pray or not to practice their beliefs. It is very unfair. Jesus cannot be mentioned in our schools but Muhhamed and Allah are. It is just not fair to the Christian beleivers.
Everyone should have a fair chance to worship what they want to.

OUR rules only apply when they ARE in line with shria law.
Muslims have no problem articulating that sharia trumps the constitution and will even go as far as to point out that any regulation that interferes with sharia law is unconstitutional.
There is not a politician on the planet who has the guts to stand up to that and get elected. The press would rip him apart.

They are not legally but if it appears that way its because they band together in protest, and people are fearful of them in general due to the actions of some Islamic extremists whos idea of a relgion of peace is volitle or explosive to say the least

you mean "our" nothing makes them exempt. However, we must be respectful of their culture. Laws are laws, but if a muslim needs to pray at a certain time of day they should be allowed.
..its whats called a social society.

What is happening to this country is that people coming in do not want to be Americans. They want ALL their traits from their country and nothing more.
When people used to come here they wanted to become AMERICANS. not any more. They want us to become their home land.
And that is just wrong.
