They are so politically correct that they can't win an engagement in case it upsets the enemy but who want them there?

Certainly not the British Public who prefer them to be anywhere but in the news.

Nor do the Americans who regard them as useless.

Definetly not the British Government who keep them undermanned, under-equipped, and underpaid.

So who actually wants them there?

Greece is a u.s. ally they donated money to the usa after katrina, they have troops in iraq and afghanstan. They too declared war on terror. Greece is a peaceful u.s. ally. Even turkey sent some aid to Greece. Yes i no that the usa has its own fires but they are in the middle of no where not in big cities like the ones in greece. half of greece was on fire literally! wheres the help?

Is it any wonder anymore as to why there are so many stupid questions and answers on this site ?
BTW , what many of us missed (probably while we were picking up our jaws off the floor) is that the question started out with : 1/5 (or 20%) of Americans can't locate the USA on a map . For those who are mathematically challenged or went to public schools 20% is alot , a whole bunch .

We argue all day long on here about Iraq and President Bush etc , but what we're missing is that people are stupid . Sorry but there's no other way to put it . Stupid is as stupid does .
We handed our education system to the most liberal group in our country . . . . the Teacher's Union . And they failed . No excuses .

Doncha think it's time we take our public education system away from the liberal hands of the teacher's union ?
No child left behind was a start , but we need to finish the job .

The border patrol agents and the national guard are all immigrants help the immigrants.
Does the patrol refuse to stop the immigrants because it would cut off the marijuana supply?
Do the courts and patrol like peso's?
Immigrant bashers refuse to admit defeat. Keep it up. You will see CA, AZ, NM, TX go bye bye.

Are US Voters allowing this issue to become either Universal Health Care or NOTHING?

That's what this seems like to me, we are going to end up with this issue being about only Universal Health Care and at the end of the day nothing is going to be accomplised.

I do not see any down falls except for big business insurence companies not making profit. The United States spends at least 40% more per capita on health care than any other industrialized country with universal health care while not providing better service on most cases.

17% of Americans don't have coverage and thousands of people die a year from it. Its a sad state when this could be prevented.
