We (Americans) can all buy food to eat, blankets for warmth, etc., at stores.

Does that mean hunters kill defenseless animals just for sport, or even worse, decoration???

Should we be able to predict the results of the big election in 2008?

It seems the letters D and R have become the most convincing qualities of a candidate.

What has happened to the much-ballyhooed liberal tolerance and inclusiveness? Last time I checked, the liberal tome was that homophobia indicates latent homosexuality, and that these poor people are forced by society to live in the closet for fear of persecution. So if Craig is in fact gay, isn't his membership in the Republican party just a symptom of his societally motivated need to cover himself from persecution? I don't know why he wouldn't be embraced with loving arms and encouraged to come out of the closet and embrace his true self and join the Liberal utopia..... unless liberal tolerance and inclusiveness is all a bunch of BULL! So what's the deal?

Why does it seems liberals have NO sense of humor?
You mention something about Hillary in a dominatrix outfit, or a humorous response to a stupid " why are all cons......" ?, and you get reported. You would think I was insulting their god or something.
Libs, prove to me you have a sense of humor.

..the Governement "can only do much".

In other words, if aint Bush's baby you aint funded.

"You're doing a heckuva job Brownie".

But in New Orleans Uncle Sam says screw you, we need our $10 Billion a month for Iraq.

Isnt it disgusting, a "christian" nation has THESE priorities?

So Leona Helmsley left 12 million dollars to her dog!!! Now I totally understand making sure the pooch is taken care of but she already gave the man that is going to take care of the dog millions.

So, just opinions, not really laws - what is your opinion of such insane extravagance.

YES YES I know it is her money and her right....but come on 12 million dollars?

Don't you think that makes her seem insane and therfore her will could be contested?

This is TOTALLY about militarized economic globalization.
It's been wrapped up in patriotism and fighting terror for your support!

How can anyone believe otherwise?
Because the guys (Bush/Cheney) who will financially profit the most from this globalization told you so?

This war has been brought to you by the PNAC.
These aholes had strategic military battle plans already drawn up in 1998-99 when they were orgainizing GW's presidential campaign!
They even tell you what is needed to accomplish these goals...."A Pearl Harbor type of event"....quite the coincidence that 9 months after his Supreme Court 'appointment' to the Presidency he gets this "Pearl Harbor type of event"
Really??????

My brother is in his late thirty's and has always ben bailed out with money all his life....there have always been debt collectors knocking on the door and my parents have always bailed him out. Except now it is not funny, our Dad is 70 years old lives on his own, my brother lives the high life with his girlfriend and hasnt lived with Dad for YEARS but keeps giving my dads address ie during stays in hotels and doing a runner, then my Dad has baliffs on his door as he did last night! but is too afraid to give my brothers current address (so protecting him) trouble is guys it is us tax payers who end up paying in the end.
Is there a national type data base I can contact to post my contact details should any one be looking for him to recover debt? then I can give them his current address and protect my Dad?? any ideas?? HELP

Ok, lets try this again. I just posted this, but then like a fool had to show my backside and respond to someone with an unitelligent answer.

Thank you to all law enforcement officers for keeping my family safe. Thank you for putting your life at risk each and every time you wear your uniform (and sometimes even when not in uniform.) Thank you for enforcing the laws that are put in place for a reason. Thank you for being the one brave enough to protect all, even the ones that want to bad mouth you until they need you. Thank you for being an inspiration to my children (both want to be LEO's). Thank you for doing what you do.

Because now people who were not politically motivated or involved in politics in any way are now some of the biggest truth activists.

Because of the 9/11 conspriacy and other issues like torture and wiretapping, it raised questions and awareness about the honesty and integrity of our Government - the Government is now under a massive microscope!

Is that the reason for the the Dictorial laws Bush signed into place for himself?

Is that why they are trying so hard to get Martial Law

Because they predicted this might happen and they are scared of the rising and growing dissent across our Nation?

They can run but they can't hide!

They made everyone look and now they are paying for it!

No lie ever goes away until the light of truth shines upon it!

Im not knocking gift buying.

But why do women, always want to buy gifts for everything?

We see the question in here all the time.

What to buy someone graduating Basic/Boot.
What to buy someone graduating AIT.
What to buy someone deploying.
What to buy someone coming back from deployment.

Is it, because, you find yourself in a situation where you have no control over whats happening, and it lets you assume some sort of control and makes you fell involved ?

I look at it from the male perspective, and I can't see buying someone a gift for those occassions, beside flowers when she came home.

Im just trying to get some insight into the female mind.

Help me out here, please.

The ex-President did very little to advance "liberal" causes:
-he passed NAFTA, a horrible trade bill that's slowly demolishing the American working class.
-instituted "don't ask don't tell" instead of allowing gay people to serve openly in the military (or at least not be ejected if found to be gay)
-did not vigourously pursue a universal health care bill
- passed a Federal death penalty bill
- passed "welfare to workfare" which hurt the poorest of the poor.

and there's more....but that's plenty of non-liberal stuff to begin with. So, I ask again, what was so "liberal" about him?

Why is it that in a ‘free’ country we are forced to wear a seatbelt?

I am allowed to refuse healthcare but I can’t legally refuse to wear a seatbelt.

Are the seatbelt laws, which the police strongly enforce with $200 fines, a way to make money? How is it that in our country the government can make laws that have hefty fines and there is no victim to the supposed crime? Isn’t that a form of extortion?

apparently, there's this huge immigration problem, but i haven't noticed it. there's tons of immigrants where i live, and everything seems fine. i thought all of the immigration was supposed to make society crumble around me- that sounds interesting, and i wouldn't mind seeing it, but it doesn't seem to be happening.

am i just really lucky to be in a place where immigration isn't causing total anarchy?

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., said there are limits. Even though she described herself as "a tax-and-spend liberal," Waters said the federal government can't do everything. Besides, she said, there are some problems that need to be solved by local and state governments.

"I would not look to the Congress of the United States to solve those problems," she said. "Where is the heat that has been placed on your state government?” “What about putting some heat under them?"

I agree with Rep. Waters. What are your opinions?
