probably put you on probation and let you pay it out. but with this comes other fees and comunity service, or ask your laywer to reset the date untill you can pay the fees.

it depends on the judge, a strict judge could give you an active sentence, especially if a wreck occured and someone was injured. chances are you will get probation and can pay fines along with all the other fees. make sure your lawyer is aware of this so he can make arrangements. either way you are in for a big suprise if this your first experience in court. save up!

The payment of fines and court costs is very important. The key to payment is your effort. If you cannot pay
all of your fines and costs today, you may be given additional time. If you fail to honor your agreement with
the City Court Clerk’s office, payment in full becomes due immediately. Failure to pay fines and costs may
result in your driver’s license being suspended. Failure to appear on your court date to pay may result in a
warrant issued for your arrest and additional fees owed.

when you go and see the judge he will ask you how much
time do you need to pay this fine.
