Because of all the problems, poisons, lead content, etc. still being reported in or on goods from China, what else can we do? Our entire Government appears not to be able to protect our food, clothing, toys, etc. Does anyone have a solution?

Ther have been 27 amendments, should the 28th be the repealing of the 2nd, and that the "the right of the people to keep and bear arms", "being necessary to the security of a free state", is now rather outdated?

I mean with 27 amendments, the US admits they have had to update their original charter on more than one occasion. One more to reverse this outdated precedent, from when the US was a nation of different collectives, to what it is now, surely must be on the cards.
I mean the 27th in 1992 was to limit congressional pay rises, so c'mon more forward thinking here people. What do you think?

Like live there? I mean a vast amount of Americans. I think it would solve alot of our problems if our military was flanked by American civilians who would settle over there.

they just dont get it for some reason. Only after the war did GWB invite AlQaeda into Iraq with his goof ups. Now please repeat after me " 9/11 was not related to Iraq" again....." 9/11 was not related to Iraq". Good I pray that it sinks into your skulls.

One of my good friends recently joined the Navy as a Hospital Corspman and she said that she stands a good chance of going to Iraq because of her job; she says that it is a much needed position over there....I was just wondering if this is accurate?

I consider myself a Republican...I am a Christian and believe that Republicans make much more sense than the far left......yet I find myself believing in global warming, have unanswered questions about 9-11 and do not have blind faith in our government. But, I do believe we need to stand united as a nation, regardless of our disagreements....does anyone else feel as I.

"what do you want? a pity party? its not the job of a US MILITARY CHURCH to recognize the BRITISH MILITARY. please, go sit in on a british service and tell me if they mention all the US troops killed in this war...NOPE NOT LIKELY. we dont have a responsibility to them so blow it out your 234. "

A question was asked earlier and I was working on my reply when..NOTHING.. the question was deleted...? But, this reply had shocked me and I had it in my response before question deleted... hence and accurate quote from ALESHA A !!

I remember the questioner said that a US Chaplain in Virginia had offered prayers and thoughts for the U.S. PILOT ONLY involved in a blue on blue incident in AFGHANISTAN recently.

NOT ONE WORD OF CONDOLENCE for the 3 YOUNG British Soldiers or the injured or their grieving Families..?

Common Decency dictates RESPECT for ALL deaths for ALLIES in combat together?..

I believe it when the soldier said he WAS IN THE CHURCH along with BRITISH colleagues...

I was just thinking, that in 1776, these 39 citizens "good & true" signed this famous document, and yet throughout history it has been amended 27 times, and with the exception of the 13th (abolition of slavery), it all seems pretty old school. Who had the audacity to think they could start changing it?

i say yes, all the way. there are NO advantages to smoking. it jeopardizes your health, and can hurt other people by secondhand smoke. but it does bring up this point: it would just make for more illegal drugs, and could possibly make it worse because criminals would make their own cigarettes and smoke/sell them

I would not normally put this on the net, but I can't respond to him and I thought you may like to add your 2 cents.

I have a name left over from the service I would be tempted to use and it starts with a P! But I gave up swearing after the service whwn I noticed every other word was F!

I had made the comment that Eisenhower and Nixon got us into Vietnam, and I guess he thinks I am not telling the truth!

My father was in Vietnam from 1958 to 1960, and I know LBJ was not president then. Though I do agree, like Bush, LBJ lied about the Gulf of Tonkin to be able to commit combat troops! The reality remains however, US Air Force pilots were flying aircraft with South Vietnamese markings long before that, and US Special Forces were in combat as well!

Then he will keep the war going, with his electorial votes to keep his war machine in power.. and ignore the popular vote...

I think he has a general of the armed forces in charge of the cia... so he can do a terrorist attack here, like he allowed on 911..

and then claim marshall law.

he will do this if his regime will lose power in any way

1st. win by electorial votes, if he has enough power in congress..

2. declare marshall law..

do not you think this is why he chose a general, and did not want him to resign..

either way the american people loose with bush..

Just a few days ago I moved into my new place. Before I moved in my landlord told me that she would send her cleaning lady to clean my apartment and that she would have the carpets shampooed. When I moved in I realized the apartment hadn't been cleaned but since I didn't have another place to go I went ahead and moved in. That same day I talked to my landlord and she promised that her cleaning people would come and clean my place, this never happened. The night I moved in I noticed noises coming from the attic (I don't have access to the attic) and then I discovered some mice/rat droppings in one closet. I told my landlor and she promised to take care of this. Two weeks have past since and she hasn't done anything. I decided to clean the place myself and got some mice poison, so far I have found only two dead mice. I know I made a huge mistake when I went ahead and trusted my landlord and moved in, but is there anything someone in my situation can do to make her do what she promised?

Funny how neocons assumed that the war would be a cake walk. You know how they think right? "Camel jockey Aýrabs are an easy target"but what they didnt think about was the possibility of civil war and insurgency.

Its obvious that they are looking for a face saving way out of this mess and quite frankly they really have no choice but to stay the course.

im a cashier and i recently got trained, about a month ago. i was over about 8 dollars my first time on the register. i realize that was probably due to inexperience and me simply not being careful. but ever since that happened, i have been extremely careful with counting the money that customers give me and what i give them. however, i was under 20 dollars today and i dont uderstand how i could have been. will i get in trouble now that ive been over/under more than once?
