I an in need of someone in the USA helping a Civil Engineer in Nigeria who is on a contract to get out of Nigeria and back home to the USA. He was robbed and beaten on Tuesday. They took his money and his passport and all efforts to get him out by me and himself have proven ineffective. I called the emergency phone number to the US Embassy in Lagos Nigeria and they called him on Wed but no returned call or help. The man has been in treatment at the hospital for 2 days now and the Hotel Manager will not help him get the airport or leave the hotel without paying his bill......no money to pay .....
No passport papers to get home. I am in Canada and I do not have any more solutions to the problem. If someone in the USA sees this write-up can they help by extending a few dollars to the hotel and get him out to the airport where the USA officials can get him on a plane home to North Carolina where he lives.

I have joint custody of my children but they live the school year in a different state. My ex & her lawyer continue to fail to inform me about issues involving my kids as well as their filing of an order to Affect Parent-Child Relations. I found out just in enough time to file a response that showed there was no justification for that and documented the fact that I was not given proper notice. They didn't even show to their hearing for it. Also, the therapist is refusing to speak to me or provide me with any reports of my kids therapy although I stipulated in the Custody Agreement that I was to be given the same information the Mother is. Now my ex has moved to a new address in their town and I can not get the lawyer, my ex or the therapist to even return my call much less give the new address. I want to remain pro per and need to know what form to file against their negligence and refusal to provide information. What can I do to enforce that I am kept informed as stated in the orders?

I live in Florida, and started a job about a month ago. I am going to be leaving the job as the rules and what they want from their employees is crazy. But here is my main question. I get paid $8.50 per hour. My manager told us in the start of the job that if we quit and not give 2wks notice that we would get paid, but they would job us down to our states min pay. (florida) Can they do that? Also, we get 1% Commission per sale can they take that away from us?

At times, Neil Young can be a great singer/songwriter. However, his protest songs are generally childish and poorly written.

Pink recently recorded "Dear Mr. President" (with help from The Indigo Girls). Pink has a great image and I like her music, but this song is just embarrasingly immature and ignorant. Why do these rock artists strip away their false mask of sophistication and show us they're barely the intellectual equivalent of an 8th grader?

What is it about politics that makes musicians believe they have expertise in matters they can't even articulate well?

This guy I know pushed his girlfriend and beat her after being a little tipsy, But she claims she had a bruised face andd a brusied nose and filed a police report. Before they could arrest him in the state of New jersey He fled to GA where his parents stay. His parents and their ffriend came to NJ to pick him up and left for ga. Heis here in the united states with a student visa bu5 is no longer a student, and the rest of his family are not residents neither. So i was wondering what are the consequences and are there any consequneces for his parents and the frien that brang him to ga?
