I an in need of someone in the USA helping a Civil Engineer in Nigeria who is on a contract to get out of Nigeria and back home to the USA. He was robbed and beaten on Tuesday. They took his money and his passport and all efforts to get him out by me and himself have proven ineffective. I called the emergency phone number to the US Embassy in Lagos Nigeria and they called him on Wed but no returned call or help. The man has been in treatment at the hospital for 2 days now and the Hotel Manager will not help him get the airport or leave the hotel without paying his bill......no money to pay .....
No passport papers to get home. I am in Canada and I do not have any more solutions to the problem. If someone in the USA sees this write-up can they help by extending a few dollars to the hotel and get him out to the airport where the USA officials can get him on a plane home to North Carolina where he lives.

I am not scamming. I talked to the US embassy in Nigeria. Nigeria is a dangerous place to be and it is known for attacking Civil Engineers who work there. If you can extend help please do. If there is an agency that can help him please extend your help. The US embassy is 9 hours away from is hotel and the hotel manager will not let him go unless he pays his bill ,but from what money!!! If all of it was stolen along with his passport what can he do to pay the bill??!!!

You can help him by giving him the internation phone numbers to reach his creditors & bank. They can provide him with the funds he needs. The US Embassy can provide him with the documents he needs for identification to get back in the USA. Find out what hospital he is being treated at and call him at the hospital. The hotel probably won't help you.
