The worst thing Clinton did, was to give legitimacy to the "Starr Commission" by answering anything they had to ask him. His Attorney General should have shut down that little dog & pony show. long before they wasted millions of our tax-payer dollars in a senseless quest for some wrong-doing" on his part. They drug up every trailer-trash ho they could find, paid them to lie, set up press conferences for these sluts, and many other crazy things. If he had denied their authority, and sent them packing, the impeachment farce would never have gained credibility, and even the most hateful Republicans would have been unable to waste all those hours and dollars.

If there has been a President that slide by without criticism by all means someone tell me who that was. All I know he was not in office my lifetime.
I was always amused by how Republican he could be and still get slammed by the hard right. My investments sky rocketed. They slide at the end but I was still up big. Like many before him he was hit from all angles. The Flowers/Jones/Lewinsky stuff was even more stupid than Nixon's attempts concerning Watergate. Unlike Nixon he got by with only one VP.
I did not like or hate him and did not vote for him or either of his Republican opponents. Will not vote for anyone that has or might raise tax. I made money. The Internet went from slug to light speed. He was definitely shady, but so was Nixon. Both parties have had that dogma.
I will give him a 7 -1 for for raising tax rates, -1 for the scandals both female and whitewater, -1 for not being aggressive enough when attacked.

First of all it will be easier to say what he did right and that was to leave office. so the worst thing was to be president.
Now Clinton said the war had to happen and Iraq had wmd's as did almost every lib that voted for the war. And for it being a illegal war it was not as we are the power and we make the rules.
And the UN had voted for it and so many sanctions you are either so blind and dumb or you are Clinton plant and work at the Clinton massage parlor and pool hall.

The worst thing that Clinton did was not press harder to pass Healthcare Reform. He let the Republicans get away with a campaign of deception and fraud in defeating Universal Health coverage. Other than that he was President for the longest and most successful period of economic growth during peacetime in the history of this great nation.

Bill Clinton did achieve a lot of great things for the country while President, especially in terms of job growth, home ownership, and fiscal responsibility. The worst thing he did for his presidency was all the sexual harrassments he brought to the White House. Monica Lewinsky was just the most well known one. But their have been 4 to 5 other sexual harrassment allegations against Clinton while Governor of Arkansas and President of the US. Arguably going after Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in 1990s is important but hindsight is always 20/20.

1. I hate to tell you this but Bush did not defy the U.N.
2. I hate to tell you this but Congress declared war not Bush.
3. Clinton used his power to interfere with an ongoing Federal investigation. Guess who was being investigated...I'll give you a hint...think Whitewater.
4. Can you say N.A.F.T.A.?
5. How about perjuring himself? Does that count? Last time I checked perjury was a felony, and according to the Constitution, an impeachable offense. Look up the "high crimes and misdemeanors" part of the Constitution, trust me it's there, and a felony is a higher crime than a misdemeanor.
6. How about the way he dumbed down public schools with his "No child left behind" policy?
If you want more just say so...
Now I ask you, what exactly is "illegal" about the war? Because you don't agree with it, it must be illegal right? Well if you're going to condemn President Bush, what are you going to do with the Congressmen/women (including your hero Hillary Clinton) that voted to go to war? After all they're the ones that declared war, so isn't blood on their hands as well?

He tried to justify a lie....that rarely works! As for his personal life, what he did had a direct effect upon a few people...Monica, his wife, his daughter. Beyond that, it's a family matter and nobody else's business, even though those who don't like him gleefully expressed their disdain. Compared to people like Nixon and George Bush whose antics have affected millions of lives, Clinton is clean as a whistle. Even Ken Starr couldn't get him for anything, after investigating for years and spending a small fortune.

The first president sued for sexual harassment, as if this wasn't bad enough.
The first president accused of rape isn't that wonderful for our children to learn?
The first first lady to come under criminal investigation, and now she wants to be president so she can pardon her husband if he gets himself in more trouble.
Yea they deserve eachother, outside the white house.
