I agree with you, it is very unlikely to be fighting terrorists in the aisles of Safeway. As Lt. Col. Grossman pointed out the far more likely target will be our children's schools like the Chechnyan terrorists do to the Russians.

Then it won't be quite as funny, right?

About 10 minutes.

No, an Ak47 is not an optimum weapon for close infighting. I suggest going to the frozen food department, picking up a couple frozen chickens, and just whack the hell of the terrorist cowards. Better yet, go to the delicacy section, get some pickled pigs feet and wave them around in the air. That will make the fanantics run like hell.

Gumby, in a supermarket you want a 12 guage gas-charged Beretta shotgun or a Streetsweeper. An MP5 will create to many shells in the aisle. Then little old ladies will step on them and fall down.

I doubt the terrorists will be fighting over here. The will be busy lunching genocide in Iraq until the rest of the Middle East is drawn into their fighting. If you listen to what the news reports are out of Turkey, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iran it will not be long. Turkey wants to attack into Northern Iraq now, but the US keeps them out.

Do not get me wrong. They will still be launch attacks like they did before 9/11. Like with the World Trade Center bombing, bombing of the USS Cole, the bombing of the Colbar Towers, and the bombing of our Embassies in Africa.

a couple decades. the conquest of the west is planned for AFTER the wahabis have reestablished the caliphate in 'greater arabia'. that means that they have to overthrow all of the nonwahabi governments in the middle east (which is all of them). that will take some time. they will control 60% of the world's proven crude reserves at that point.

no the ak -47 would not be a weapon of choice for close quarters battle, check out the two links below. they 'handle' well in tight quarters and provide adequate fire power to penetrate flak jacket type body armor.

The sad part is, the extremist muslim community declared Jihad on the United States nearly 30 years ago... they've been at war with us for that long... They're here already. There are terrorist cells in the United States. And we're too concerned with being PC to protect ourselves from it. How sad is that?

It won't be that obvious, but with no brokered peace like what Nixon achieved with Viet Nahm, we would be looking for the same smashing success we achieved with the end of WWI... except Hitler will be a bit darker, more facial hair, and... oh yeah, access to nuclear weapons: sleep tight!

AK's are what the bad guys use... I'd go with a S&W .357 hand gun, not as effective if you get pinned down in the dairy section, but it makes for a quick checkout.

AK47 could be useful for the "across the market" and "down the aisle" shots, but an MP5 would serve you much better in CQB.

After Virginia Tech, the mall in Chicago, and a few more incidents already on record, you're a little late. An AK? No, try the M4 (search that!).

More Americans kill and maim each other every single day, than terrorists do.
Too many guns already, please do not buy an AK47. [I know you are only joking].
Do you really think that pulling out of Iraq will increase terrorism in the U.S.A.?
That's a lie from the White House, or should it be re-named the Black House?
