Congressional Approval at Lowest Point Ever



Did you see this? "A new Gallup Poll finds Congress' approval rating the lowest it has been since Gallup first tracked public opinion of Congress with this measure in 1974. Just 18% of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing, while 76% disapprove, according to the August 13-16, 2007, Gallup Poll. That 18% job approval rating matches the low recorded in March 1992, when a check-bouncing scandal was one of several scandals" -- ha! Yeah, the House bank and the House post office. You know, it's amazing. Have you seen any stories out there, folks, on what the Republicans need to do to win back Congress? Every year after 1994, when the Republicans took over Congress, the Drive-By Media was obsessed with what the Democrats "had to do to win back Congress." I haven't yet seen a story on what the Republicans need to do to win back Congress, given all this.

I currently don't have insurance, I don't really know what I can and can not do military wise. He will be in Iraq when the baby is born, so I don't know how they will do it.

Say whether you think Canadians have more or less liberties and why?

I say more because, legal drinking age is lower, statutory rape is more lenient meaning 18 yo can have sex with 16 yo and it isn't a crime and we broadcast nudity, adult language and content in our network television stations.

If u had a family member 65 years or so that has never been convicted of a crime for the whole 30 somewhat years they been in American but is not a legal citizen of America. How can u go about fixing this situation for them and helping them become a citizen? Will there be a penalty? would it cost alot? How do u go about this?

Because after the probation was up my lawyer says I had no record and that in applications I can put that I have not been convicted of a crime. He just said that the judge dismissed the case. I'm confused now.

I lost my job last year at a school due to the principal and I had personality conflicts. I want to file for an extension of unenjoyment but am unsure of how to do that? Please don't send responses like get a job? That is not the point of my question. I just would like an answer on how to do the paper work for an extenstion on unemployment.

In some states in the United States they still enforce the Napoleonic law of property. In NC and LA, a woman may have her name on a deed but in order to transfer property, she must have spousal or male family member permission to do so. This makes her little more than the property she is trying to transfer. Your thoughts on the matter. Should a woman have to ask permission to sell what is rightfully hers (and no comments on prostitution, okay, this is a legitimate question)?

This must be the answer to their utter inability to see the truth, for instance:

1. Crushing a baby in his or her mothers womb is perfectly fine as long as the mother says so.

2. Bush is evil for sending troops to safegaurd a country trying to become one of the first democrataclty elected Muslums nations in the world.

Can anyone explain this to me?And don't bring up her voting record. That started way before she held office. I personally don't think she has enough experience yet to be prez, but I wonder why she's hated for being 'fake'.

I don't have children, I don't use public transportation and I don't go the library. Why should I have to help pay for these things? It's communist! I know you'll say, "it's an investment in America" but shouldn't I get to decide how to invest MY money? And I dont' want to invest in these communist ideas. I am trying to warn people about these con artist with yahoo e-mail addresses. They play on you emotions. Someone is either dying or even someone died that has your last name and a attorney contacts you and to offer you a deal with spliting millions of dollars. We have got to get the word out people. This is coming from the UK and other countries. I was taken, I was foolish, these are major con artist. They will send you official looking documents and phone #, fax#, addresses. one they sent me was from a place called Fidelity Trust Financial Service in London. Very official looking , also death certificate, accident report...documents from the High Court of Justice England and Wales. These people went by the name Keno Lesley E-mail address kenolesley@yahoo.com also Abby Young at abbyyoungeyahoo.com. There was a Neal Miller who was suppose to be a Dr. at Fidelity Trust of the dept. of internations remittance depart. PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE THESE PEOPLE . I LOST MONEY!!!

All I ever hear about is how abstinence is the only 100% guaranteed birth control. Well, there are forms of sex called 'outer course' which is also 100% effective. Why can't they include that in 'abstinence only' education?

Why do liberals advocate casual sex when it leads to STDs (many times, DEADLY STDs) and unwanted pregnancies but get mad if someone says that abstinence can be a useful tool to prevent these things?

Sure, safe sex should be taught as well, but we all (even stubborn leftists) know that abstinence is the best.

One does not have to have sex, you know!!

If you can't afford contraceptives and you KNOW you can't afford to raise a child-- YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SEX.
