Def not Giuliani.. He has been embroiled in so many scandals.. and he uses 9/11 to make himself look like a hero, yet after careful research one can find that his own neglagence caused more deaths.. We need someone that looks out for the interests of the majority not just the elite.. Did you know many of the same corporations that are sponsering Hillary are doing the same for Giuliani.. Ron Paul isn't about selling ideas or making faulty promises. He truly believes in restoring democracy in America.. lowering taxes for the middle class and poor, his anti war stance, how about the non intervenionlist forgien policy where we trade and negioate with other countries instead of fighting wars where so many innocent people die... Many of the other canidates. even after seeing nothing coming out of Iraq, plan to take us to Iran and Pakistan.. our country is sinking into debt.. even if there was a just reason to go.. we could never afford it... Currently we live in a society which caters to the rich.. the poor get poorer and the middle class is disappearing.. so who out of all the gop canidates wants to stand up for us?? Is it really going to be Giuliani whose being backed by big corporations, speacil interest groups and lobbyists.. or the man who is here for the people... Just check Ron Paul's track record.. he is a man of principal... It doesn't take a genuis to see that Ron Paul can restore this country into a democracy

I don't see either of these candidates as viable for the GOP.

The American people do not want RADICALS of any type in office. The rejection of Bush and Rove are clear signals that the American electorate wants a candidate who is balanced, more or less centrist, and not prone to experimentation with ill-conceived ideas.

Giuliani is an "empty suit", with nothing inside and some jingles and slogans on the outside. He obviously has little integrity, seems to conceal an ugly kind of fascist mentality, and is disliked even in many parts of New York (did you see the firefighters advertisements against him? Hardly a "hero" to them!)

Paul is really just another Ross Perot fruitcake who will implode under the weight of any serious responsibility. He may be sincere enough but his ideas are radical and not workable...or even very well thought-out. More chaos ala Bush.

The GOP had better do better than these two guys, really.

Regardless of his stance on Iraq, Dr. Paul views more accurately reflect the foundation that the conservative movement was created on.

So I think in the long run, he would get the nomination.

As a bleeding heart liberal, I would vote Ron Paul. At least he's a true conservative.

I'm supporting Huckabee at this time. (Financially).
If your scenario were to occur, I guess it would be Giuliani.
Ron Paul is NUTS and Ross Perot like in nature. Doesn't have a chance.
