No, I don't think it would. There are other problems in Iraq and it isn't Osama.
But I also don't think that Bush wants us there, I feel he was told there is a need to be there by people he depends on, and he would like to see our troops home too.

The capture of Osama by the barbarian, oil stealing, 600000 civilian killing, crusaders. Would not effect a war which had nothing to do with him or the so called 'global war on terror'.
FBI dont have enough evidence to charge him. Personally i think his soldiers and he, have more courage and the moral high ground over the crusader forces. Think, with nothing more than guns and a few rocket lunchers, they fight those that invade their lands with fighter planes, and the best most advanced weapons. Rambo 3 was dedicated to the brave and couragouse mujahideen of Afghansitan, and 20 years later they remain worthy of this praise.

Beyond demoralizing the few al-Qaida members actually in Iraq, I doubt that it would have very much effect.
However, it would definitely increase the morale of everyone who wants the worst mass-murderer in US history captured, and might actually get Bush's approval ratings above 35%.

I'd bet bombings and kidnapping would increase as terrorists started demanding Bin Laden was released.

It won't, it will just give George Bush one final thing to be happy about before he is ousted. Him being captured would only result in a new terrorist leader being put in charge of al quida and it would not affect the war at all.

sad to say but this would not stop terrorism. it has been allowed to grow and evolve to a Medusa with so many affiliates around the world. but it would be a good step in defeating them. education, re-education are good tools to combat it too.
People have under estimated these people far too long. if you do not recognize your enemies intellect and committement then you are lost, and we have done this far too long.
"The clash we are witnessing around the world is not a clash of religions, or a clash of civilizations. It is a clash between two opposites, between two eras. It is a clash between a mentality that belongs to the Middle Ages and another mentality that belongs to the 21st century. It is a clash between civilization and backwardness, between the civilized and the primitive, between barbarity and rationality. It is a clash between freedom and oppression, between democracy and dictatorship. It is a clash between human rights, on the one hand, and the violation of these rights, on other hand. It is a clash between those who treat women like beasts, and those who treat them like human beings. What we see today is not a clash of civilizations. Civilizations do not clash, but compete." by Wafta Sultan

Not much. These people love to fight. They kill each other daily. Brother against brother or tribe against tribe or Sunni against Shiite or Turk.
Ishmael's children have their hands against every man and every man's hand against them. Wild donkey of a people which means pretty stubborn and difficult.
