how long does it take to do an out of state background check?

I lived in two states and it has been over a week and they have not heard anything. anyone have any idea how long it will take to get the results back?

Depends on what agencies they are getting the info from. May also depend on how much and what info they are requesting. Background checks from out of State are not a priority for many agencies.
