All I ever hear about is how abstinence is the only 100% guaranteed birth control. Well, there are forms of sex called 'outer course' which is also 100% effective. Why can't they include that in 'abstinence only' education?

lol..c'mon guys, think about it...OUTER course, versus INTER course.

Eddie...oral and anal sex ARE sex acts, and that is why I am wondering why they are not advocated as another option of 100% birth control. I am LMAO at the ignorance surrounding sex, here. Either you are all very young, or I just found out why all of you are so damn cranky on here everyday!

time wounds, I am not making things up. The GOP has fought every effort to educate our children on how to protect themselves, with theri abstinenece only education. They continually tout the reason for promoting abstinence only as 'the only effective way'. And it isn't. So, why (if that is the reason) not educate to ALL of the options? HMMM?

SO, since all of you want to answer my question with a completely unrelated answer of 'the schools shouldn't trreach my kids' where were you when the GOP wanted to teach them abstinence only? I don;t remember the huge revolt of 'keep gov't out of the bedroom' and 'let me rasie my own children'
when this was passed , or censorship on TV or music, for that matter. All I hear is about laws should be made to protect the children, and family values, etc...

Assuming your on Mccain's element he's likewise a turn flopper! In 1999 he publicly supported Roe v. Wade, later privately opposing it in a letter to the national genuine to existence Committee. interior the 2000 debates he replaced the GOP platform to allow exceptions for rape, incest, or the existence of the mummy. Than he flipped lower back in could 2007. So there you have it he's merely a grimy baby-kisser. the only element i will relish approximately Mccain is him serving our u . s . a . yet that doesn't provide him the suited to misinform it. On Obama, he did no longer state abortion grew to become right into a type of start administration you're thoroughly taking issues out of context. i don't get what human beings recommend whilst they are announcing he's no longer qualified. He needless to say had to fulfill the standards merely before working. wish you think of issues by using earlier November our u . s . a . relies upon on it.

I'm a Republican. For all of you who love to generalize Catholicism with political beliefs go play in traffic. Sex is as fun as it is necessary to creation. Kids shouldn't be having sex for a simple reason that they can get pregnant/cause pregnancy and can't even take care of themselves for the most part let alone another life. Why is that so hard to understand. I started having sex at 15 and didn't get anyone pregnant.

Over generalization by the left. I suppose you think that oral and anal sex.... isn't a sexual act because Clinton didn't hide the salami in the nappy dugout?

***I am 32 and am not exactly a saint... not even close! Anyhow, oral and anal sex still can promote STD's. Abstinence is still 99.9999% safer than any kind of sex. (It is still possible to get an STD without sex, strange but true). There is no ignorance in it at all, I am a father of two little girls and I hope that they are not faced with an unexpected pregnancy or STD.
P.S. I am overdue for a good romping in the sack with my wife though... of course I'm cranky! lol!

What about STD's? Is anal sex or oral sex 100% effective against these too??

I would advocate hichefheidi teaching our kids the safe way to play naked twister!!!

I haven't met many guys who would settle for the "petting". Chances are if they go that far, they will go further.

Why should this be a GOP issue anyway?
I love the ones on here that say if you are a conservative you don't like or want sex...period. That is so funny. Just because most GOPers choose to think of the consequences of their actions BEFORE the act instead of after doesn't mean they hate sex.

BTW...it is not government's job to educate my children about sex in the first place. I pay my tax dollars so they can educate him with educational issue...like maybe math, English, history. Heaven knows they suck at that so why would I want them in control of teaching my children sex?

I believe we should leave discussions of sex to the parents. I do not need the schools to educate my child on sex in any way, shape or form. As far as I'm concerned they are interfering with my raising of my child if they do so. Should my rights as a parent be superseded simply because another parent doesn't wish to handle the subject with their kids? I think not.

I seriously doubt that most in the GOP feel sex is for procreation only.

I really love hearing republicans tell us the kids shouldn't have sex for blah blah blah reasons and that only abstinence will work.

Guess what guys, it hasn't worked since the dawn of human history. Why? because people like to have sex. Deal with it. And teach your kids to do it safely.

It's not just Republicans,I know plenty of people who are Democrats and prefer teaching their children about sex themselves and not in a classroom. Kids should be allowed to be kids and not rushed into an adult world.

Never heard of it.

Regardless of such, education is the key issue to sexual relations.

The more educated one is on the consequences of sexual intercourse, the less likely that the transmittal of STDs and pregnancy will occur.

Sorry hichefheidi, I thought you were referring to some new spin word by the neonuts on Fox that I wasn't aware of.

Duh!

Why not let parents teach their children about sex? Problem solved.

Don't you know that sex is already a dirty thing? Now you think they should teach the kids about kinky sex, too. Shame on you! Everyone knows that all you have to do is tell kids NO and they'll listen... works everytime, right?
