automatically gives up their human rights, and that the victims of crime should be put first. The guy that killed Phillip Lawrence should be deported without a second thought, our country seems to put perpetrators before victims and these so called Human Rights lawyers are just in it for the money. Our Human Rights are being mocked by these so called people

Not only does Israel occupy these territories illegally, they have set up jewish only settlements on palastinian land which are in direct violation of the geneva convention. Why does the west support such clearly illegal actions.

I have a registered sex offender in my neighborhood...he also serves on the homeowner's board?
It has come to the HOA board's attention...and the guy said he was innocent, refused to fight the allegation because of an illness.... so, the HOA board believes him and is doing nothing to remove him.

Is there anything that I can do....he lives within close proximity (less than 1 mile) from a private high school...a football field used by the city is directly behind his house, as is a swimming pool.

What is a Christian response to this? I fear for the children in my neighborhood...I do not know if he is telling the truth, ( I assume most convicts say they are innocent).

I think most on the board do not want to raise a ruckus?

I live in Texas.

Your opinions or ideas?

My job is having me contribute $100 minimum to a charity of their choosing. I have no problems with donating to charity, I do it all the time. This is a good charity and one that I would normally support. However, I have a problem with the fact that it's being mandated. Is this illegal or something that happens all the time?

I am currently in the AF, and my spouse wants to join the Navy. Does anyone know if we can be stationed at the same base? Is there a program that works this issue? I am in supply in the AF, so I pretty much have a wide range of bases worldwide I can go to, so that isn't a problem for me.

He just did not seem to understand the world around him-others seemed to think he is just not very bright and easily mislead. The whole middle east is being destablized because of his Iraq-invasion-Russia is becoming an adversary again (cold war)-China is financing our War etc..but he sure has kept those Gays in line.....

Scott Ritter was the American UN inspector that reported to the white house, "NO WMDs", not possible. He began speaking out that bush was lying about the intelligence that Iraq was a threat. This is why th UN did not support the war.

John O'niell was the director of counterterrorism for the FBI's New York office, he was the expert on Bin Ladin and Alqueda, he died in the WTT 9/11 but was previously warning about an attack from Alquida he declared that the main obstacles to investigating Islamic terrorism were U.S. oil corporate interests and the role Saudi Arabia played in furthering those interests. Bush not only thwarted an FBI investigation of the bin Laden family, he kept the specific nature of his family's business ties to the Bin Ladens as secret as Cheney’s energy task force list.

Read up on them,

Well known lobbyist companies are being used for the "movement". Right now the "movement" is mainly a state by state "movement".

A free health care program would cost trillions of dollars per year. There are hundreds of billions of dollars to made off the government if free health care was given to everyone in the U.S.. To me, the "movement" looks like it has nothing to do with caring about people.

A very large percentage of people without health care insurance are undocumented workers (and their kids), and foreigners with work permits.

As Americans we have the right to due process, and a fair trial, however traffic court really isn't a fair trial. Basically ones only hope of winning is if the officer doesn't show up. A police officer's word is sufficent to "convict" a person, because they are held to a higher ethical standard.

If you plea guilty you pay the fine and court costs and get a ticket on your record, which can effect your insurance rates. If you plea not guilty and win, you stil end up paying the court costs.

So, short of the officer not showing up, your only shot is to plea no contest, pay the court costs and ask that the ticket be deffered on the condition you aren't cited in a given time period.

Technically, you have the right to a lawyer, but bringing a lawyer will do more harm than good, the logic is if you can afford the lawyer you can afford the fine, or it will piss off the judge how's that fair. Just something I was pondering when I went to court with my sister for her first ticket.

How much do you think you really know about what is happening in the Middle East? Not just Iraq, but the picture as a whole. It's unbelieveably complicated and there are so many theories about why we're really there and what the situation really is. What are your thoughts on it and why have you come to those conclusions?
