We have a LOT of shootings and killings and such right here at home in our inner cities EVERY DAY! Why don't they care about AMERICAN kids getting shot when a drug deal goes bad and shots ring out all over?

I am from the USA and have been having an online relationship with an officer from England.

The last time we talked he said he had a special assignment and had to be undercover for a while. And, that I wouldn't be hearing from him during that time.

He came home about a month ago....looked dead tired...and said he would be heading back out very soon...like in a couple of days. Then...poof....he was gone again.

I'm sure he's an officer. I've seen his photos in the depts. newsletter and photos where he has received awards.

Do you think he is being legit with me? I want so much to call his dept. to check on him, but I am afraid of causing him trouble.

I had some auctions terminated by eBay because the verified rights owner reported me for 'trademark infringement - unauthorised use' - they said I was selling counterfeits. I am 110% certain that my items are authentic but don't have store receipts as they were purchased from other sellers. The company is refusing to even tell me why they think my items are fake and will not budge unless I send in paperwork. My eBay account is now restricted and I won't be able to relist unless the company contacts eBay to have my auctions reinstated. I've lost sales, customers and damage to my reputation. I believe the company is engaging in unfair trading practices, using the guise of 'trademark infringement' etc. to stop the secondary market on eBay, where the items sell for less than retail price.

The company is based in California, USA and I'm in Australia. My items were listed on eBay.com (USA). They don't have stores here and I don't have the $$ to fly to the US.

I've been talking to an English policeman for nearly two years, now. There have been a couple of times that he had to go away for a couple of months and we couldn't talk.

I am positive that he is an officer, because I have seen his photo in the newsletter of his dept. And, I've seen him in his uniform.

I really crazy about the guy and he's never given me any reason to doubt him. But, I'm really worried as I haven't heard from him for about two months. The last time I saw him he looked dead tired and said he had to go back for a while.

Do English officers sometimes have this sort of assignment? Or am I being played? I'm an American, so I'm sure our agencies work differently.

People are trying to use the excuse that since he is a black man he is being persecuted and will not get true justice. Granted, if he is INNOCENT, he will be found that way and the people who are turning over on him appear to have a few credibility issues. But if he did do it, he should be found that way in a court of law,and if you read the indictment, the charges look uglier than Rosie O'Donnel in a thong, so I wish him the best of luck. Judge the man by his actions, not the color of his skin.

my daughter is a victim of sexual assault on a minor and I would like to find out when the "pervert" will be or was charged with the crimes. There is a total of 21 charges against him. He is a family members "signifigant other" and we have a family wedding coming up - she will not go to the wedding with the fear he will be there. Does anyone know how to find out? Since this is his 3rd felony - I do not think it would be listed in the traffic and misdemeanor website that I found.

I am a MA resident. During a long drive on I-90, toddler was bawling in backseat and I was trying to get to a rest area. I have a clean record for 8 years and feel that a warning should suffice.

BTW, ticket says I was doing 84 in a 65 zone.

Do you guys think above is reasonable/possible? Can I do the above myself or do I need to hire an attorney? Can you recommend any attorneys in the area?

What if there were no Political Parties but instead just candidates who were elected by their stance on issues that the citizens are interested in, the candidate's own history instead of their Party's, their own decisions and past votes, etc. Do we still need Republican and Democratic Parties to run the government? What about all of the other Political Parties that go unrecognized?

How can we make it a fairer campaign where all issues of importance are responded to by all candidates - not just those who pay the media to cover all of their stories and ask them more questions than the others during a debate. When will fair elections begin? Ever?

I intend to buy a house of a gentleman who will not be leaving the country until March of next year, however we have agreed on a price of 110k. How would I draw up a legally binding document so I know that the gentleman cannot go back on his word of letting me have the house for that price, as he is wiling to sign such an agreement?

Thanks x

Seriously, there is no centralized leadership in Iraq so we've created a vacuum by taking Hussein out. Unless the country is partitioned, only another ruthless dictator will control this country.

There have been several on YA ask the question, "Would you give up freedom for security?" Usually they are they are trying to make the point that we should NEVER give up freedom. Well, since another fatal car accident has happened involving someone text-messaging while driving, lawmakers are thinking of making it illegal to text while driving. Do you think these people should give up their freedom to text...simply for safety reasons?

In the time your government has been in power we have lost most of the things owned by the government/people, Aust. post, Telecom, Qantas, Ansett as well as other Iconic businesses. What have you in your time put back in bricks and mortar which will benifit future generations after you are gone.I realise that many of the sales were started by the previous government but Liberal has not stopped any that were begun and has allowed others to be started. Why are the billions from Telecom going overseas now not back into the Au. govt coffers.
The same could be said for Aust. Post yes it would have cost the govt. money to have held on to these entities but would have gained much more in the long run. I fail to see any long term planning for aleviation of many of the ills which are making Australia a less desirable place to live. I am 63 yrs old work in China because i cannot do so at home and love Australia very much. I also fear dying in foreign land but can't afford to come home. Bev
