Almost all the media on-line and otherwise couldn't care less about urban violence plain and simple.

Here's the thing. It appears that Kos created The Daily Kos specifically in response to the war and other Bush Administration issues. So... hopefully that answers your question about why it posts news of the war and not news of what you want to hear about.
I encourage you to start your own daily bulletin reporting on urban areas. It's great when people take action.
I also encourage you not to put others down for stepping up and speaking out simply because it is not on the subject of YOUR choice.

i will't supply you an exact region, yet I do elect to remind you that the Bible has been altered many circumstances with the aid of the years, or perhaps though it nevertheless incorporates an essence of actuality, it isn't any longer possible to assert it somewhat is each and every of the appropriate observe of God. Christan pupils have confessed the indisputable fact that human beings in positions of potential over the centuries have had the bible altered to wholesome their desires or desires, and with the aid of the a number of translations many of the genuine messages have been misplaced. it somewhat is my thought that there replaced right into slightly of the bible at one time which condemned pedophilia, in spite of the undeniable fact that i'm specific it replaced into very somewhat "omitted" to wholesome the desires of a few bishop or king. I come to this end as pedophelia is very condemned in the two Judiasm and Islam, Christianity's sister religions, and it somewhat is obviously pronounced in the two books of the religions.

If the “media” reported on inner city problems, it would be brought to light that our drug policies are not working and the “war on drugs” is a failure. We can’t have that!

Because our Urban areas are and have been governed by Democrats for decades. The Daily Kos does a great service by being a sort of giant therapy session for ultra lefties where they can vent and discuss their problems with understanding reality. However the reality is that there are plenty of murders and problems in our own urban areas, but we can't discuss that because it points to failures of the democratic party, who have run those areas for decades.

Personally, I'm all for gangsters and drug dealers killing each other off. It's when the innocents get caught in the cross-fire, that's when things are all wrong.

it's one thing to have a problem and quite another to create one on purpose. Isn't it the Executive's reponsibility to protect us not involve us in wider violence? It appears that 10 to 200 dead in Iraq is a bit more sensational than 2 a day here

Because if they do they will be called "racist" by the Al Sharpton's of the USA, but by pointing out that evil Bush soldiers are involved where poor innocent terrorists are being killed will just give the liberals votes against Bush. It is all political. None of them, Clinton or Obama, etc. gives a rat's *** about the Iraqis or the inner city youth. It is all about wealth and power.

Well, for one thing, we’re not spending hundreds of billions of dollars on violence in the inner cities. Maybe we need to redirect our efforts and our money.

That Daily Kos is not in business to report news. Their only function is to slander the Bush Administration, and to them, no lie is to great, or to small.

Sad truth but funny at the same time!
I don't see any uproar from the left for a child rapist in the East Valley in Phoenix. There have been nearly a dozen child rapes in a year's time and almost as much in attempts....by the same person.
