It was easy, I told her about the fairtax and sent her to fairtax.org and let her know that Ron Paul was going to close down the IRS and eliminate a bunch of these bs taxes we have now. She said if he will get rid of the IRS I am ready to support him, so that goes to show you how much people dispise the IRS and the crazy intanglement that is our tax system.

CANADA and MEXICO do not do this.
Are we destroying our country by allowing too many people in here with no skills who do not want to find jobs?

NOTE on the Somali people - A LOT of them are living in Section 8 housing in MN. Moms with 5 - 6 kids (all different last names) NOT SPEAKING ENGLISH and being taken care of by YOUR tax dollars...THEY DO NOT WORK!

My daughter workED at one of these apartment complexes until she couldn't take it anymore. She said what was going on was against everything she ever believed in. HARD WORK AND EDUCATION. If the Somali people came in to look for an apartment and had no job (could not speak English) she was to help them fill out section 8 housing forms. This was a better apartment than my college graduate daughter could afford!!!!!!!!

Just so they have something to complain about. If our government is so horrible and deserves all this bashing, why isn't there another revolution to change the democracy system. Like I said, it's easier to bash and pass blame on a body of government than to make a difference and become creative by starting a campaign with your ideas.

We've become a society where putting blame on the government is the easiest when things don't go right. I'm not saying I'm perfect and I know I've said some things about the government. When does the system work if nobody is ever happy with the government.

To the Somalis who live near the bridge, the picture remains unfathomable. After all, they said, bridges collapse in underdeveloped African nations not in metropolitan Minneapolis. ... the collapse was something Somalis never expected to witness in their new homeland. And it has some wondering if the American government has misplaced its priorities by ignoring a decaying national infrastructure in favor of its costly foreign policy." The Chicago Tribune.

The reverend Jackson in the Chicago Sun Times, headline: "A lot more than one bridge could crumble under GOP -- What happened at both ends of the Mississippi and is happening in cities across the country are tragedies, but they aren't random accidents. They are the direct price of the right wing in power.

Please, no answers from people offering prepaid legal plans. I am not interested in the money making opportunities, I am interested in the opinions of consumers that have actually used the service.

I got this call at work that someone turned my name in to be fake arrested on a certain day and taken to a hotel where I have to raise $5,000 "bail" for a certain charity, I explained to the person that I could not get off work for this, they said I could use my lunch hour (I dont get a lunch "hour") I told them that I could not raise that kind of money because I dont know many people that have that kind of money to donate, they said I could at least get $650 to send one disabled child to camp. Isnt this kind of thing for professionals who know a lot of people who can donate. I offered to give a donation instead, but they didnt want that. I asked who turned my name in and they said that they were under "the witness protection program". I said that the owner of the business may be interested in doing this and asked for their number but she would not give me the number, saying she was sooooo busy I probably woudnt be able to reach her on the phone. She will call back tomorrow?

Should the government make laws that give them the most ethical stance? (i.e. outlawing abortion) Or should they make laws that actually save the most lives? (i.e. sex education, improved foster care, morning after pill/condom availability.)

I'm keeping an eye on the Gingrich campaign and I think he can appeal to the conservatives that look at the front runners and want something else. His "Green Conservatism" has a chance of appealing to moderates concerned about the environment as well. All Newt needs is the money. Do you agree or do you think he doesn't have a chance in Iowa of becoming the Republican nominee?

I asked a question similar to this and one person pointed out that officers in the Marine Corps get to live off base but I'm pretty sure if this were true, that they'd have to be within a certain distance of the base. Is there any truth to this and if so, what rank would you have to be? Curious because I'm thinking of going to OCS. Thanks.

You never hear anything positive and most the people doing the bashing wouldn't dream of making a difference and running for office themselves. The news media included. Maybe because it's easier to be judgemental and not be creative.

When I go to rallies or marches I really admire those people that can chant and march with enthusiasm. I'm just too shy to paticipate. I'll march too and I care about the issue but I can't seem to just open my mouth and chant too. Any ideas on how I can open up and be less shy?

I was sincerely disgusted today when i heard my 14 year old cousin call a girl Muslim as in insult. I don't understand how people can be so misunderstanding. I'm quite certain that she didn't understand what exactly she was saying but probably heard other people using it to insult and decided she would use it too.
is there something wrong with our society today where people don't understand where the line is and can't see when they have crossed it?
in school i was strictly taught how wrong it was to use someones race as an insult. and i come from a school where only a hand full of students were of a different race. we all knew that it was wrong to make fun of them for this difference and most people actually saw these people as superior because they were quite smarter then most.
there is something wrong with the way we view anyone who isn't white. and this NEEDS to change.
I guess its quite obvious how things came to be this way. so my question is why did we let it happen?

me and my friends snuck out and went in to town to go swinging.

When we got there we wanted to play a prank.

soo my friend got this idea to honk the horn of somebody's car.

so we went up to this car and he told me i was the one to go in and i said no ,but i was kinda close to the car.

all of a sudden we were all laughing and joking and they pushed me in and shut the door.

i was looking all over the car for the door handle trying to get out ,but i couldnt find it.

i accidentally touched the glove box. is that bad?

then they ran and and old lady came out and got me.

they called the cops and we all went home with him.

the old couple is taking us to court does anyone know the worst they could do?
