I dont understand why illegals come to america and demand things be done for them. I understand they want a better life but it has gotten out of hand. Do they really think that america HAS to do things for them? I dont believe the BS about not being able to live without them. We did just fine before the massive influx of them. I believe if they really want to become legal they should be drafted to the war to show their gratitude and patriotism for america.

(New Jersey- WABC, July 11, 2007) - A New Jersey senator wants to make it illegal to sell or give to anyone under age 18 toy guns that look so realistic they can be mistaken for a real firearm.

"It misses the mark because it demonizes toys instead of criminal behavior," said Scott Bach, president of the New Jersey Association of Rifle and Pistol Clubs, which is the National Rifle Association's New Jersey organization.

I've recently watched the movie: "Days of Glory". It has piqued my interest in finding out about more of the contributions & sacrafices made by African soldiers in both World War wars. My paternal & maternal grandfathers (both from Nigeria) fought in the wars. if anyone has relatives or information regarding this (links, books, etc.) please contact me. Thank you

We had our interview with INS in Aug of 2006 & she, my wife, was approved for the conditional residency. Next year, she should get her permanent residency. If we were to get divorced next year after she gets her permanent residency, would she still be able to apply for citizenship and, if so, how long would it take for her to get it?

Honest, thought out answers only please as this is a serious question.

What would you have done if you were president at the time of 9/11? How would you have handled the situation?

People are constantly criticzing things but do they have an alternative plan to what is either being proposed or what was done? I'd really like to know. It may be helpful in the future.

VANCOUVER (CP) - A B.C. Liberal senator says the federal government should decriminalize marijuana and "tax the hell out of it," with the revenue going to public services such as health care.

Senator Larry Campbell says too much time and effort is being wasted with criminal prosecutions for minor amounts of the drug while organized crime reaps massive profits from the drug's cultivation.
And, he says, a lot of police officers are looking the other way when it comes to busting people for having marijuana.
He said Wednesday it's a drain on officers' time to spend five hours producing paperwork for marijuana charges.
The drug should be treated the same way alcohol is with its production controlled and sales regulated, Campbell said.
"This is not a drug that causes criminality," he said. "People are getting criminal records for essentially nothing."

Here in Britain, we are seeing a worrying trend towards taxes that are simply raised to discourage us from doing something. An example of this is congestion charging.

So, the question is: Should the government and local councils be able to use taxation as a means to punish or discourage?

I answer questions without any type of bias, and without bashing or blaming liberals or conservatives for certain things. I am so sick of many conservatives bashing liberals and liberals bashing conservatives. We are supposed to be a united country, not a divided one over politics and political parties. George Washington, very possibly our best President ever, warned against people fighting over political ideology and political parties. The Founding Fathers would be ashamed of what the country they worked so hard to make free and united has become. I just wish more people would be independent and not fight all the time.

Trillions of dollars in "unsupported adjustments" means trillions of dollars unaccounted for. What's going on? Where is the money? How could this happen? Where are the checks and balances? How much more has gone missing? Is this happening in the other government agencies too? What would happen if a corporation failed to pass an audit like this? Or a taxpayer? Who is responsible for this? Who can we trust to fix it?
