i remember very clearly the cuban missle crisis.we didn't question our government but assumed that what was being done was needed.
we prepared ourselves for a nuclear attack in whatever way we could.
never asked the government to build our shelters or whined and cried about how it was war mongering.
where did all this change?i have my opinion.what's your's?
when did we stop being Americans 1st?

the flags of the Swastika and the Rising Sun would have been blowing in the wind all over your country, Stars and Stripes forbidden. . If we had acquiesced, as members of our German royal family wished, you would have no air bases, no shipping facilities. America would have been crushed like a nut in vice, the Japanese from the south, the Nazis from the west. We Britons after 2 years of hell, we stood alone in the World to save our planet from evil, whilst the mongrel race dithered. most probably didn't know there was a war, until the Japanese knocked 7 bells of shite out of you,
you decided to help us out. And we are forever grateful. but remember the Brits, the USA would have been too late, if our islands had fallen.

Whether you believe she should be compelled to testify about the attorney firings or not, don't you think she should have shown enough respect to our legislative system and to the Constitution to at least SHOW UP in response to the subpoena and state her intention not to testify?

Isn't it a kick in the teeth of the citizens of this country for her to simply IGNORE a Congressional subpoena? I mean, fine, if she doesn't think she should have to testify, whatever, but she should at least SHOW UP, don't you think?

BAGHDAD - Iraq's shaky government will be hard-pressed to meet the 18 benchmarks even by the end of the year, and many Iraqis believe focusing on U.S.-mandated yardsticks has in effect set them up for failure.

Let's say for example a person is 19 and is dating a 12 year old. Yes, gross, I know.

How would they get caught, according to most cases? People who know them rat them out? The little girl's parents find out somehow? Asking out of curiousity.

I had been having problems with IRS trying to convince me that my pension was to be calculated with my husbands SOCIAL SECURITY....? I don't receive S.S.

To this day ,after following the guidelines in this article along with a copy of the CONSTITUTION, I've been able to find 2 cfr( codes of regulations) to resolve my problem. It is urgent that we get Tax Educated !!!!!!!

After seeing the " REAL LAWS " on our tax system "UNFOLD BEFORE MY VERY EYES", I believe ,"WE HAVE A PROBLEM THAT( WE) ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BIND TOGETHER TO RESOLVE" !
The laws are required to posted on the internet now;but what good is it to us if we have no understanding of how to defend ourselves..?TYPE IN:

The tactic where you are in charge of trying to solve a problem, and say that you actually working hard to solve the problem, but your actions are actually making the problem worst, and as the problem gets worst and worst....you say that people need patience...but as time goes by time after time.....the results that you promise are very negative, and you keep saying that more patience is needed....perpetually...and that the very fact that things are this bad is exactly the reason why we need to stay the course that you have established?

The only thing I can compare it with is the principle that the best way to fight a fire is by pouring gasoline on it....and as the fire rages on, that you say that the reason it is getting worst and not better is that we need to pour more gasoline to the fire......and as it rages on further and further and time and time again....you keep singing the same tune....that we need a surge in gasoline pouring unto the fire.

A coven of delusional murderous criminals holding up and united in total utter contempt of the law, authority, government, and justice.. forbidding subordinates, even former subordinates from coming out and obeying the law. Daily releases to the media of incredibly unreal prophesies of directives and empowerment from God. Will they commit mass-suicide or what?....nah too much to hope for.,

Let's pretend everything is Rosy in the Garden;

Iraq is a success,
The whole world is jealous of our success
China and India won't surpass us as power houses in 10 years
Al Qaeda is defeated
The Constitution and your freedoms are in tact
Waterboarding and Torture is the American way
France is now our greatest ally.....

See how easy it is to pretend???????????

The South's efforts for re-unification seems like a person who consistently takes back an abusive ex. The North does not like them ad has been brain-washed to hate them because they are US Puppets. It's a shame to see the South's government continue with this charade. Any IR people have any insigh into this? And do the citizens of South Korea want the re-unification?

debate you? I always thought part of the reason of a debate was to learn something you never knew.

I was happy to read how many people were open to new viewpoints if the argument was good enough. Still some that never "flip-flop". So why would anyone waste their time on a debate with those people?
