This CON thinks:
Iraq isn't a success, but abandoning Iraq leads to even worse consequences.
Much of the world is jealous of our success and the fact that American culture spreads through so much of the world.
China may pass us economically in 10 years, but not per capita. Per capita the USA will still be far bigger economically. It's not our fault they've got us beat 4:1 in population. India? No way.
Al-Qaeda is not defeated. When have we CONS ever said any such thing? But have they attacked the US lately since we've been going after them?
The Constitution and our freedoms are in tact. Name one American Citizen who has had his/her rights infringed, other than Katrina victims having their guns confiscated by the local LIB authorities. Go ahead, name even one US Citizen or legal resident???
People caught fighting not in uniform are NOT protected by the Geneva Convention, nor do they have rights under the US Constitution. Waterboarding is far preferrable to historical standards as to how spies in war time are treated. Usually it's real torture (true physical abuse) followed by execution. If the terrorists want to be treated according to the rules, they should fight according to the rules. Besides which, Waterboarding and other interrogation techniques have yielded real results.
Why would we even want France as our greatest ally?
