for those of you who are miss-informed.Upwards of 80% of "illegal" immigrants are employed by employers who pay the appropriate legal wage.Taxes are withheld and sent to the goverment and are not recoverable as a SSI payment by those workers whose SSI number does not match that account.Like the rest of us,they too pay sales tax, fuel tax, utility taxes, etc. If they rent, the property owner pays taxes on those properties at the same rate as they pay for "american" rentors.Next falisy is that "illegal"immigrants are a drain on the public health care system. They account for less than 10% of indigent care.Next one is that "illegal" immigrants drain the welfare system. Not possible without a valid SS#.
Stop frothing at the mouth and read a current report on where the money is really going.Last time I went by a public housing project,I saw lots of black faces and lots of white faces and NO hispanics. They were WORKING on the buildings.

NO they don't. The businesses may SAY to their illegal workers that they are paying taxes and take these 'taxes' out of their checks. But the businesses that hire illegals do not actually claim these workers to the IRS and do not actually pay these 'taxes'. The illegals THINK they are paying taxes but are NOT! This is the businesses being corrupt and then the illegals are even getting more taken advantage of. This is also their fault for being illegal in the first place.

You have to be a legal documented worker with a legal ss# to actually pay taxes. If you have a fake number or if you don't have a number at all, you are not being reported as a worker to the IRS. If so, you would have been caught by now. The IRS can catch up with ANYONE who is documented and is paying taxes. They cannot catch the businesses because these workers are not reported in any records and are paid by the business. IT is the businesses responsibility to pay taxes for their employees, they are not doing so.

The regulation is the regulation. If we are to permit immigrants to illegally enter the rustic (to that end breaking the regulation) then it is unjust to permit different crimes to have punishment. Legalizing unlawful Immigration is a foul theory as a results of fact a extensive element of unlawful immigrants are criminals. to no longer point out, American immigration isn't THAT high priced. Plus, the toll on American Social risk-free practices could be devastating. in addition to, a great variety of the terrorists that contributed to the countless bombing tries for the duration of 9/11 have been unlawful immigrants who had overstayed their visas. Open Immigration could enable extra of that as a results of fact the structures could be so backlogged that it may take months for a visa applicant. it is purely a large number. yet, i can't truthfully say that i'm for unlawful immigration. additionally, it is a false impression to declare that they could convey extra jobs. Many businesses already outsource to different international locations, and unlawful immigrants have shown themselves to no longer be marketers via taking each and all the roles that people do no longer artwork at. it is not their fault, it is ours, yet why could immigrants flow with the aid of the hardship of beginning a sparkling corporation while there are the style of great variety of jobs that are no longer being crammed via the people?

Consider the fact that most illegals do contract work or work for cash (I know this be a fact in my part of the US, because my clients each year have hundreds of their prior contract labor 1099's returned by the IRS because the name and social security numbers do not match). Contract labors do not pay taxes if they are using phony identification. Individuals being paid cash rarely file tax returns.
Consider the fact of the name illegal--LAW BREAKERS.
Consider the fact that most illegal drugs are brought into the country by illegals.
Consider the fact that many illegals commit major crimes.
Consider the fact illegals get free medical care, education for their children, citizenship for children born here, welfare assistance.
Consider the fact many illegals steal idenification of Americans causing individual hardship and problems in the taxing system.
Consider the fact many illegals drive under false idenitcation and get involved in numerous accidents that the victums have no financia/legall recourse(one of my brother-in-laws was killed by a drunk illegal driving the wrong way on a highway--the illegal skipped bail).
Consider the fact that may immigrates come to the United States legally and learn our lanage, laws, and etc.--they are what is good for the United States.
Consider the fact that many illegals see their actions as a peaceful invasion of the United States--look at the link provided.
Consider the fact that illegals send large sums of money outside the United States--increasing our foreign deficit and lowering the value of the Dollar. Mexico's largest source of income is from illegals sending money into Mexico.
With US taxpayers paying for the medical, education, and increased crime, and not receiving taxes from them. It is a lose lose situation for US citizens.

Your article says illegals are paying 7 billion into Social Security (they think).

"Analysis of the latest Census data indicates that California's illegal immigrant population is costing the state's taxpayers more than $10.5 billion per year for education, medical care and incarceration. Even if the estimated tax contributions of illegal immigrant workers are subtracted, net outlays still amount to nearly $9 billion per year."

This is only stats from California. Now if you leagalize these 12 million hard working, god fearing little angels, how much more is this problem going to cost us. In addition, are any of these illegals using our infrastructure, like driving on our roads, but aren't paying federal, state, property tax, etc.

NO! ARE YOU NUTS?!

Americans pay BILLIONS every year to take care of the illegals. Illegals increase crime, drugs & gangs. They are destroying our schools and health care system.

Ángel Martínez is an exception, not the norm. Most illegals are paid under the table and never pay SS. Besides, haven't you heard how they want all that SS tax back and the idiots in Washington were considering it?

BTW, the NY Times is about as credible as the LA Times. They are both biased and print false information. They are not legitimate sources of news! Try UNBIASED sourses such as the Heritage Foundation. You get FACTS there instead of opinion.

yes but it doesn't pay for all the costs in education, healthcare, welfare and jail space.

It also doesn't take into account the cases where the SSN does match someone. (stolen numbers mostly) The IRS records both the legal person's income & the illegal's sometimes doubling the recorded income and the taxes as well, but the illegal files the w-4 with so many exemptions that no withholdings are taken out leaving the citizen holding the bag on the taxes. Yes they can fight this, but it takes years, in the meantime they have to pay double taxes.

NO NO NO! And I didn't read your article. It's common sense. Let me ask you this. What if people were breaking into your house on a frequent basis. And someone published an article saying, isn't illegal break ins/ burglary a good thing for the owner and the community? What would you say? It's a good thing? I think not. Same goes for illegals in the U.S.A.

If you really believe that, then I want YOU to come sit in the emergency room for 8-1/2 hours on a hard plastic chair while me and my friend who is disabled and in pain have to wait - all the while the illegals are tying up emergency rooms all over the country and taking medical care and medicine for free. They are consuming huge quantities of our resources, breeding like maggots, and returning nothing. I not only have to pay my bills, I have to pay for them as well! These are ABLE-BODIED people we are talking about that are taking resources away from truly crippled, disabled persons. Let them go out and get jobs and pay their own way like everyone else. But no, they have the effrontery to not only take our emergency room services, and welfare services but then to burn our flag and wave the Mexican flag while in OUR country! They don't ask politely; they demand!

Enough is enough.

They might pay taxes to a point, however most are considered poor,so the drain on our public assistance isnt even close to what they pay,and for your info,it doesent matter how much you argue the fact illegalls should be here, what matters is whos going to fight for America?Cause islums and chineese are already ahead of the ingreat freeloaders, stand in line illegal mexicans, you will never get this country unless you fight with us instead of against us.
