Abortion..oh oh...don't get the GOP started on that. The Religious Wrong wing of the party will go crazy.They want to controll a woman's body, and all of our thoughts.
I often think of moving to South Park, but i don't like high elevations. Unless Paris Hilton moves there first.

because it is a legal medical procedure and there is no valid reason, other than a right wing religious movement, to change it. Would you ban cancer treatment? How about treatment for aids? A woman has the right to control what goes on within her body and the state should never be allowed to interfere.

because they would have either had to ratify the Constitution (which takes 75% of the states.. and wouldn't have happened) or would have needed the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.. which wouldn't have tech. made abortion illegal.. it just would have made it more confusing as each state would have been fighting about how to proceed... for the time, it was better for them to leave it alone.

It's a Supreme Court issue. Congress can do nothing about it.
