I've recently watched the movie: "Days of Glory". It has piqued my interest in finding out about more of the contributions & sacrafices made by African soldiers in both World War wars. My paternal & maternal grandfathers (both from Nigeria) fought in the wars. if anyone has relatives or information regarding this (links, books, etc.) please contact me. Thank you

You don't actually state where you are located so I presume America, do a web search for "Harlem Hell-fighters" from the Bronx, New York, they served as combat troops in France in WW1.

In WW2 there were many colored units including the famous "Red Ball Express".

In WW1 the French had many co loured units as well from the African colonies.
