No. I think it should be based on experience, education, and ability to the job.

No corporation should be "forced" to hire an un- or underqualified individual in the name of enshrining diversity. Diversity can undoubtedly be promoted by hiring competent, capable and effective people that hail from multiple cultural/ethnical backgrounds.

The shrine of "diversity" mmm...you are referring to affirmative action, a lot of people blame minorities for everything, I don't think a minority should be hired just because of race (even though for hundreds of years blacks could not get a job because they were blacks) people should be picked based on qualification for the job, just remember next time you rant that for a very very very long time, minorities were disenfranchised and disregarded in the workforce and that' s still affecting them today even though they were qualified for the job so don't complain.

No, but there are plenty of qualified people with diverse backgrounds. Diversity is more than just race. It means much more. And many, many companies have diversity programs. It is good business to get people from diverse backgrounds.

Unfortunately if they didn't then white skin would be the #1 qualification corporations would look for. That's a fact. The funny thing is that they will still be hiring unqualified people for the job.

Diversity does not mean hiring under qualified people. It means branch out. Now if you were talking Affirmative action, then I would have a problem with it.

Yes. White people are the devil. We should not exclude those of a specific race or gender.... UNLESS THEY ARE WHITE. That solves the problem right? Pfffft.
