They seem to be on the same witch hunt there were before they gained power. Looks like they would move on with the nations concerns. Like medical expenses, gas prices and so on. You know items that effect the people who they said they were going to help. They look to be a paper tiger. They have all the seats they need and still can't get anything done.

Marxist teaching tells us that the capitalist counties will flock to the cheap labor of communists and argue over the purchase of the rope that hangs them...words to the effect.

about it long and hard before I took action. I called crimestoppers and I called the local tv station. I am now in the middle and scared because I don't think the police can protect me. the tv station called the chief of police and a leiutentant is currently calling me, I have given him all the info I can but today my b/f and i got into an argument over the situation next door and I told him the police were watching the house and going to bust them, he called the guy that is in charge over there and met him at the store and told him that they were being watched. Now I will look like an idiot, i have seen them turn 6-7 away since he talked to him. I am so dumb for being honest, I just hate myself at this moment. I have always been honest and it just seems to bite me in the *** every day. He says I am stupid because I will not lie. what is the consensus?

a very small fraction of the 1.3 billion actually terrorizes people? i hear from people ALL THE TIME that Muslims are terrorists and are commanded to kill all non Muslims according to their religion and commandments.

so how come those religious Muslims don't go out and actually kill others if they would get the ultimate reward for doing such heinous acts ? why is it that only maybe 1% of those 1.3 billion not doing what they are supposedly commanded to do in exchange for the "72 virgins" ??

We must finish training the Iraqi forces and then pull out,
Isn't that a nother reason why a time line would be inapropriate, Exactly how long will it take for them to be able to defend them selves? as if telling the enemy how long to hide out isn't enough?

cut & run?

Isn't anything other than a clear Bush victory in Iraq considered "cutting & running" according to him? (& since his Surge is already a failure) how can a US Commander in Chief cut & run from a war?

Or is Bush use to cutting & running like he did with the Vietnam war?

I did business with a company in Oregon. I am in Missouri. They set my account up on a monthly autodraft and took 3 months worth of money out of my bank account. The problem is they never even delivered one months worth of goods. They kept telling me that they would "get caught up". After 2 months of that excuse, I had my account taken off autodraft, but they still aren't caught up. I found out this morning that they are out of business as of last week and the owner is declaring bankruptcy. Do I file a small claims court suit in Oregon, Missouri, or is the a federal small claims court since this is involving interstate commerce? As a disclaimer, I will not hold anybody accountable for any legal advice that they offer by answering this question. They owe me about $1530.

I thought they learned a lesson from Vietnam, but I guess not. When you are battling insurgents, it takes a long time to defeat them. I vaguely remember Democrats during Vietnam saying withdrawing would not hurt us and we could still be successful. The troops came home to ungrateful morons spitting at them and the war turned out to be a failure because we pulled out of Vietnam and the North took over the South. They lost their buddies in a war that would have been worth it had it not been for the poor public opinion and pressure from Democrats to withdraw. If we withdraw from Iraq, Baghdad will be taken over by a thug that will make Saddam look like a saint and Iraq will be more unstable than it is right now. If we stay there, we will make the insurgents frustrated that we are not playing their game and we will stay until neccessary.

Personal experiences are fine too. I'm not asking people to give me their opinion on which president they like or even if they like the current one. I want to know how our country is better off now than 6 years ago, or how its worse. I know 10 years ago, I remember no instance where anyone I knew or anyone in my family that had trouble finding a job, or paying their bills. Now almost everyone I know has trouble finding a job, or paying their bills. What good comes from a war suposedly for our freedom, if we die from sickness from not being able to afford healthcare? What good comes from fighting for freedom, if we arent going to take care of eachother and help eachother succeed? What good comes from tax cuts, if they give more money to the wealthy, and our country now has the highest poverty level ever, with many more close to poverty. With schools closing down all over, people getting more poor, more sick without healthcare, and jobs going over seas, whats good now?

I think Sheehan is delusional. I think she has used her son's death as an excuse to gain sympathy and credibility. I think she is a nutcase who doesn't stand a chance of being elected to any office. She especially couldn't beat Pelosi.

No shame if you don't. I am surprised how many people think they are believers, but, when asked the tough questions, can't differentiate between fairness and Liberty; Or relegate Liberty to a tragically low order of priority. For international users: This admittedly subjective test is weighed in the historic U.S. Perspective, so answer accordingly. Also, Anarchists may find this test inaccurate as, for our purposes and in the context stated above, we separate Anarchy and Liberty. How will you score?
