Its not that all people who are against this war...aren't just peace nicks doves. Myself, I felt deceived by this administration. They made a sell job that could not convince the UN, the former Desert Storm Coalition, and the majority of its traditional allies, but won the American Public and Congress.

When things didn't pan...No Nukes, No Delivery System, No Biological Weapons, No Chemical Weapons. It seem to be a deception that has occurred. We've been duped!

We have thrown our people in harms way and ruined a generation of other peoples lives over at best a goof or at worst a lie.

While wasting resources over Iraq...the REAL guy in 911 BIN LADEN got a way. NOW TELL ME THIS IS A GOOD THING!!!!

Anti this war because we went there under false pretenses and no one has convinced me that we have any business there.

Only Congress can declare war, according to the Constitution, and they haven't. I think our government has done the country a great disservice by a) Congress abdicating their responsibilities towards this issue and b) Bush pressing an issue merely to save face. There are some mistakes made here that we may not be able to overcome as a nation.

I feel for the families of the service men and women who have lost their lives because of this conflict. We should never have gone.

You mean Iraq or in general? As Obama said, I'm not against war, I'm against dumb wars.

Iraq is a huge problem because we are F'd if we leave and we are F'd if we don't. It was a wholly unnecessary and unprovoked war, but now we have a moral obligation to 20 million Iraqis (used to be 25 million before several million managed to emigrate due to circumstances wrought by US policy).

We need to get out, but we have to do so with care and with a plan that involves the cooperation of regional states and our allies. To achieve this will require some humility on our part - but isn't that what Dubya promised in the 2000 campaign, for the US to be humble in foreign affairs? Time for him to deliver on the promise.

I'm pro-war I assume you mean the war against the islamo fascist. Because I think it is better to kill murdering terrorist than to be murdered by them.

I am not pleased at all with the current government. They talk a good game but when it is time to act they get wobblely. After all I agreed that we should make no distinction between the terrorist themselves and the nations and people that harbor them or materially support them. Right now the Iranian government is harboring terrorist and supporting their efforts to kill Americans. If our government lived up to its words there would be no safe harbor for terrorist, and Iran would be in flames.

War is an abstract concept. Like integrity.

The US is not at war. There was no declaration of war. We have troops committed to aid one side of somebody else's civil war based on an obsolete authorization for the use of military force.

I think our current govt has done more damage to this country in the past 5 years than all foreign aggressors combined have managed to do over the past 50.

I am pro peace!!!! I was born in 1958 in Hollywood,FL in the middle of the revolution,ie: Vietnam. My uncle served 2 tours there and it scarred him for life mentally. I would compare myself to Dharma. I am just tired of all this war and battles and killling and hopefully we can get a pres that has a better perspective of the real world and how tranquil and patience will always win

Pro war. America has a right to defend herself, and we need to show the stupid terrorists over in the Middle East who's boss. However, if it were up to me, I'd pull out all American troops and nuke the whole Middle East area. It may be cruel, harsh, Nazi-ish, but we'd wipe out all terrorists, potential and living. We may kill a lot of people, but hey, we'd kill less than how many could be killed. America needs to take action!

anti-war. I'd like to win, but its not foreseeable because the maliki government will not train the Iraqi troops, and it will not stop corruption.

The Bush administration has bungled everything from day one. Biggest question is...Why did he disband the Iraqi army? that made no sense

Two words. A debacle!

And how can anyone be for a war against people who had nothing to do with terrorism, or 9/11?

It is pretty clear why Bush could not make it in the military, besides his cocaine use!
