It depends on what type of court your going to. traffic court, they will give it usually 3-5 days for you to come in and pay your ticket then they issue a warrant. For more serious offenses they will just issue a warrant fot your arrest

I am sure they have told you the consequences. They issue a bench warrant. Only one excuse works tell the judge you were in the hospital, or there was a death in the family. You will get off the hook.

If it's a criminal matter, then a bench warrant will be issued.

If it's a civil matter, and you do not have an attorney show up for you, then you default (lose automatically).

if you read your ticket you are allowed 14 days before or after to appear on your ticket. its consideration for illness, vacation, or etc.
