if ALL Muslims (and by Muslims i mean people who PRACTICE Islam) are terrorists by definition how come only?

a very small fraction of the 1.3 billion actually terrorizes people? i hear from people ALL THE TIME that Muslims are terrorists and are commanded to kill all non Muslims according to their religion and commandments.

so how come those religious Muslims don't go out and actually kill others if they would get the ultimate reward for doing such heinous acts ? why is it that only maybe 1% of those 1.3 billion not doing what they are supposedly commanded to do in exchange for the "72 virgins" ??

Do the math. 1% of 1.3 billion people is 13 million.

Are 13 million people currently engaged in terrorist activities? If so, how come we don't have even .01% (1/100th of 1% of that or 1300) terrorist attacks every day. That would still be only 3% of the terrorists population (.003% of the total population) each year, so they could keep that up for 30 years before anyone had to commit a second terrorist action.

When you look at the numbers irrational to think even 1% or even 0.01% is actually terrorists.

Compare that to more than 1% of the US population being felons.

Well as far as i have heard the 72 virgins idea is not from the Islam from the middle east, it came from Muslims in the USA. Islam is a religion of peace, i have heard of passages saying to go out and fight the non islamic people but it said fight them until they cannot fight, then accept them in. Islam by its original meanings was not terroristic or supposed to go and start a war everywhere. If you say that they are only terrorists and the religion is trying to bring down the west and everything, then i have no respect for you at all, and you truly have an american mentality to things, that being if its not christian and from the western thinking then its not good to have. Islam is one of the greatest faiths to have come about, they were advancded far beyond the west for centuries. Without Islam the West would still be just comeing out of the middle ages. BUT back to my point, Islam is not a religion of terrorists, there are christians and others of differant faiths who blow things up and die doing terror acts but they are labeled as martyrs or psychos or something else, anything besides terrorist but as soon as Islam is spoken of people think of terrorism, WHY???? Has the west really fallen from a point of intelligence down to the level of simplistic moronic barbarity.

Very few people believe all Muslims are terrorists. The word Muslim gets thrown out there a lot which may give the impression that people think the entire Muslim religion are angry western hating terrorists. Personally, I haven't met anyone in my life that believes that.

I don't know about all that but I'm pretty sure heaven is gonna run outta virgins pretty soon. Plus who wants to have sex with virgins who have died, don't ya think there is a reason they went that long without having sex.

Their holy book specifically instructs them to kill non-believers. I don't know what that means but it sounds pretty bad.

Its not a positive religion, as if any is, stop trying to defend it. Religion is the root of most if not all evil, not the path away from it.

Why are there so many Islam apologists all of the sudden. What has Islam possibly done for your life? I have never had a Muslim come to my aid, help me with anything, why is everyone so defensive of them? It just doesn't make any sense.

The bible orders Christians to convert non believers and if they will not convert burn down thier cities.
Yet most Christians don't.
The bible refers to eating shellfish as an abomination but most Christians still like shrimp and lobster.
The bible tells us that we should put to death anyone wearing a garment made of two types of cloth - yet wool/cotton blends are very popular - especially in the religous south where they are cooler than straight wool.
Similarly most muslims do not follow every verse of the Koran literally.
