Why is the worlds richest man is Carlos "Slim" Helu? He just surpassed bill gates by billions. Also Mexico has the worlds 12th largest economy and if we look at it in terms of per capita is roughly one fourth the size of our economy. not to shabby is it?

Fact of the matter is that the "anglo" american had his day, and the sun is setting on that era. latin america is working as a bloc now for the most part, shunning nafta and supporting mercosur. their economies are flourishing and places like argentina, chile and portions of mexico have higher standards of living than the states do. their real growth rates make ours seem pathetic and non existant.

your day is over, and when the sun has set and you look to your allies you will find yourself cold and lonely. you have made life in latin america hell for two centuries. starting wars in central america, depriving children of food and medicine, y buying products american corps produce on their lands. you will end up alone in a corner

...supporters abanoning ship, or just propaganda? Insane McCain was rumored to have sqaundered 20 million in his first quarter campaign??? That WOULD be consistent with the "tax & spend" mentality he fosters. Is McCain done, as in finished/kaput? Rumored his stand on immigration policy torpeded him hard? I thought representative Ron Paul & his eleven supporters was supposed to be the first to hit the canvas as in counted out? Is this Insane McCain's "journey to da septic tank", or will he run in 2012 on the demo ticket?

The new regulation on firearm powder will all but eliminate your ability to obtain ammunition. This is brilliant, why attack the second amendment when you can just eliminate ammunition.

So let's see, first they want to regulate what we say on the internet with the FEC, then they want to close down talk radio and now they gut the Second Amendment. What is next, will the Democratic socialist stormtroopers with hobnailed boots be taking your children away for re-education?

I would say to arms, but we will not have any ammunition if this regulation passes on the 12th. If you care about your rights check the link and write your Senators and Representatives.

republicans don't really even believe what they're saying, do they? they might believe it on a conscience level, but at some level they have to know how stupid they sound-- I mean if they're really that dumb, how do they hold down a job? i figure they must be lying to themselves as much as they lie to everyone else. I'm no psychologist, so... Does anyone know-- what happens to someone's psyche to cause them to vote republican? does it have to do with all the fear and hate? or an ingrained sense of selfishness and entitlement? Maybe there are some actual psychologists out there, who know the answer?

Is it legal to take different parts of different photographs and combine them to make a completely new photograph that is unrecognizable from any of the original photos used. Say, if i wanted use the head of a political figure, celebrity, etc... and combine/manipulate it with parts of another photo. Not with the intent to deceive, but for obvious effects of humor.? I'm working on something for a website, and i forgot a lot of the laws about photo manipulation, using other people's photos, and public figures.... Could someone refresh me?

I know that some men/women cheat when they are deployed. I am just curious how much of it really goes on. I want honest answers from people who have been deployed before. I know that some people do not need to read the answers, so I would appreciate it if you have an answer that would upset a spouse back home, please email me instead of posting it. What is it really like for our deployed people? Even though they may cheat, does it really mean that there is something wrong with their relationship back home or is it just to pass the time and fill the loneliness?? Let me just add that I think that the spouses at home that cheat, are about as low as you can get. I can understand how it can happen overseas, but the people at home should be ashamed of themselves. These men/women need all the support they can get. God Bless Them.
