The best thing to do is to contact your state bar office. You can file a complaint there. You will need the lawyer's bar number and/or name. Go to your state's bar website. It should include a link for complaints. Many times the bar will investigate your complaint and may bring discipline charges against the lawyer. But once you do that, you should fire the attorney and get a new one! It quite easy.

The state bar association has a toll free number and handles all complaints about attorneys. You could also report him to what ever national organizations he might belong to. The state bar association is the only one who can pull his strings and make him treat you right. Many attorneys think they are God and know better than you do what is in your best interest.

Find another attorney. Some attorneys feels they are special, and don't belong to the regular people. They get this way because they know the law, and the rest of the public doesn't.

Or, you can write to your state's Bar Association. That's how I got rid of my exwife's second attorney.
