I mean people in this country are fed up with the inadaquite and underperforming public schools led by liberal Democrats-right? So we are building private schools over there -right?

In my area, I've been responsible for refurbishing and expanding three different schools, so far. We just work on the buildings. The MOE actually takes care of the curriculum.
Not that it's any better....
The MOE is full of Sadrists.

I don't know about public schools in the US but the one I attended in N. Ireland was fine. I went to university and after 6 years walked out with a Ph.D Maybe in the US they simply can't manage public schools properly. That is one more thing I will add to my "List of things Americans mismanage"!!! Thanks for the advice.

If our govt builds schools there and supplies their curriculum then we will benefit in the long run. They soon will not be able to locate us on a globe and wont know what a map is. They have proven they can dumb down our students. I'm sure they can dumb down the Iraqi students also.

In Iraq there is the No Child Left un Terrorized and radicalized program with rigerous testing as well.

No, they are public schools but not run by the liberals. You are so right about what the libs have done to our school system.

They had excellent public schools. The only problem is, they have been bombed to hell by Bush. They also had electricity, telephones, clean water, hospitals, homes, roads, etc., also bombed to hell.
