I think so.

One of the main reasons people were singing his praises was the tired old excuse of "he's standing up to George Bush". Well so effing what! This guy has all the makings of a dictator, such as:
1. Shutting down the opposition voice, i.e. closing radio and tv stations -- no more freedom of speech in Venezuela
2. Heavy arms purchases from Russia, including 100,000 AK-47's, 24 fighter jets, and some submarines
3. Sequestering private land to which the government has no right and distributing it to the poor
4. Trying to rework the constitution for unlimited terms

I have a friend visiting Venezuela from peru right now, and she says that people there are afraid to speak out about him. Every Venezuelan I talk to her in the States can't stand the guy. How funny it would be if he invites his new Russian of Chinese friends to set up military bases in Venezuela, then comes running to the U.S. for help when his guests overstay their welcome (i.e. annex Venezuelan territory)

Bobby Cutts a murderer and a police officer has made alot of news having to do with the fact like myself he is law enforcement a cop. The hardest thing for me to do is to break the "so-called" blue code of silence. But when that guy got killed in New York coming from his bachelor party by a hail of bullets and he wasn't even armed and way back to Rodney King which got that stupid LAPD Chief Gates fired and when the sheriffs deputies murdered the youth in Florida at that boot-camp and tried to lie and say they were giving him CPR. Maybe it's time to impose the death penalty. Some states have the death penalty for serial pediphiles, others for drug offenses especially overseas. As a former cop, police need to be held to the highest standards. As a former soldier during war you can be sentenced to death for cowardice, for treason for murder including even if you are military police a military tribunal can sentence a soldier to death.

I was very proud of Zell when he gave the keynote address at the GOP Convention.

With the Democrat Party having lurched to the extreme far left, there is no room in it for moderates like Zell any longer.

As Zell said, he didn't leave the Democrat Party, the party left him.

I work for a small rental car company in Maryland. I have to check the customer's license to see if they are valid and if they have any warrants out for thier arrest. Is there a quicker way to do this than having to call dmv every time- when I call in the process is very slow, I'm trying to streamline the paperwork process so that the customer is in and out in a timely fashion. I don't need a full, detailed criminal or driving history, I just want to check the license to see if is valid and not suspended.

The Liberals run the media in this country, and all the mainstream outlets ran the story on Coulter's remarks. They ignored the first part of her sentence "If Bill Maher can say he hopes that Cheney were killed in a terrorist attack..." I never saw that in any newspaper or on any TV network program. The Liberals want to discredit FOX??? It's the Liberals who twisted that story to a point where it's all over the internet about what Coulter said. Have any of you seen the actual tape? It's so out of context. She was making a point that a Liberal can say it and get away with it, but if a Conservative says the same thing...blasted. She's right. I don't even like her.

I don't get what the big deal is. The court only said schools cannot use race as a deciding factor for admissions. It did not say that blacks and white must be separated. Instead of busing kids all over town, just let them go to the neighborhood schools. Or, if they wish to go to other schools, they can provide their own transportation. Every one still has the right to choose a school. Its just now the schools cannot choose you based on race. So why the uproar?

I'm an attorney, and I'm scratching my head over this one. 4 Justices (Scalia Thoma Alito and Roberts) seem to say that a public school can NEVER use race as a basis for selecting a child. 4 Justices (Ginsburg Breyer Stevens Souter) seem to say that a community can ALWAYS do this in a reasonable manner. But one Justice (Kennedy) says that a community can SOMETIMES do this if it addresses diversity concerns.

In my community, we have 6 "magnet" elementary schools that you pick from, as a 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice. After all the applications are in, the schools then strive for a diverse student body, by race. It works very well and has diversified all of the schools. Does this meet Justice Kennedy's test? Can anybody really say (except for Justice Kennedy)?

In my entire life - I've only met one person who holds an overtly extremist political view. The hundreds of other people I know are for the most part moderate - whether they are Democratic, Libertarian, or Republican - they are all for the most part moderate. Who are these extremists? Not what you've heard in the news or heard a politician elude to . . . but real people - your neighbors, your family & friends, etc,? Do you think the media and the politicians are taking a very small political view and blowing it up for their own personal gains? Again, who and where are these people?

With levels of obese people rising along with the levels of adverts telling you how to eat and exercise properly, how to be healthy and how damaging being obese is, i wonder, are a majority of people simply to stupid to look after themselves. People smoke, drink and do drugs even though they know it could and may kill them, and yet they still do it, despite all the warnings they continue, essentially killing themselves. So should the government take on a more facist approach to managing its population, is it there duty to make people do what it is in thier best intrests to do, because apparently a large amount of people are simply incapable or unwilling to do it for themselves.

This might be a weird question but i would like to know what you think about Mexicans who believe to be the better then anyone, or anything in the world. But as some of you might know. Last sunday was the final Gold Cup Match in soccer. The U.S won against Mexico. After the game they didnt even show the whole Ceremony, and when they were interviewing Donovan they had comments written across the Gringo Team Won which I thought that was sooo rude. But anywho. As soon as the whole thing was over Mexican people started commenting on how the United States Sucks, And that Mexico Is always and always will be number 1. And to make matters worse they started making rude remarks about the central american countries, when they had nothing to do with their loss in the gold cup game. I remember one person saying that the Mexico was ontop of The United States Kinda Like saying that Mexico Rules The U.S. and some people whom even said that Mexicans Hate the U.S. Im Hispanic and Love it here in the U.S
