They are already on the watch list, and so is the KKK.
I don't see you having any problem expressing yourself!
If your gang starts committing hate crimes or terrorist acts then you will be in a world of hurt.

Try to find a website or video and add it to your question. I've never heard of La Raza. There's nothing wrong with any group wanting equality for themselves (as some chic above said it was). What I have a problem with is the cowardice of hiding your identity and hiding behind a costume or disguise to cover your face. If you have to wear some big hooded robe and if it has to be some big secret society then that in itself states that the organization's ideals and actions are straight WRONG. Why would identities and faces need to be concealed if it was anything decent? NAACP members don't have to hide behind masks and hoods. Neither did Black Panthers. Black Panthers made the word brave an understatement. I respect some of what they stood for, but I disagree with the gun-toting belligerence that they displayed a time when white police officers could crack black heads without the ole dash cam revealing the truth after the fact. The risks the BP's took outweighed the points they wanted to get across for equality, etc. But some chose to go out they way they did to stand up for what they believed in rather than live longer as civil recipients of hatred the way MLK taught. I may need to know more about La Raza to know more of what they're about, but does not the name itself (The Race?) express some ideal of racial supremacy? If so, that would make them a hate group. But unfortunately, to hate is not illegal. It's the putting that hate into actions that should be monitored and given consequences.

La Raza Isnt the KKK. But they are hateful Groups. I dont think that they are to be made illegal, unless they are immigrants. But I dont pay any attention to them, nor do i care about them. They are searching for a reputation, and they are messing up their own lives.

No difference. La Raza is a hate group. The Mayor of Los Angeles Antonio Reconquista Villaregosa was and probably still is a member of LaRaza. They are no better than the KKK.

no Viva la Raza is an expression of empowerment I say it alot I only get laughed at just like when you say Que Pasa! If you say KKK or Ku Klux Klan you'll hear a pin drop if you are that "in" with the KKK to hear them laugh or say "Yahoo" then watch out the cross is going to burn or a rope is getting ready to come out...La Raza is anything but a hate group you want to see a hate group key in the words AWB in South Africa (Afrikaner Wierstand Bewengin)

Sweetpea is too quick, she beat me with the same answer.
I see no difference between La Raza and The Aryan Nation,or Brotherhood either. AN and AB are white supremacist prison gangs for those who might not know, just the federal government doesn't support their causes like they do with La Raza.

I do believe La Raza is a hate group and they should be exposed, most people have no idea who they really are. The people should be educated on many of the extreme groups that go under the radar and they should most definitely not be contributing to the creation of any bill or policy. To the post above you do not have to perform lynchings to promote hate and any and all hate groups should be monitored and controlled.

That La Raza doesn't go around lynching people ....... I don't like La Raza either because they're extremists but they are definitely not like the KKK ......
They can't be "made" illegal because it would be unconstitutional .... freedom of speech .... just like the KKK hasn't been made illegal.
Mz. America --- so you mean to tell me that black gangs and asian gangs (and any other type of "ethnic" gang) don't kill because of race ..... ? LOL that makes me laugh!

are we talking about: The National Council of La Raza (NCLR)? [– the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States – works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans.
Why is that a hate group?

la raza basically IS a hate group. They can't technically be made illegal (as the KKK is not illegal) but can be ostracized, frowned upon, and shunned throughout our nation (much as the KKK is ...)
