In my entire life - I've only met one person who holds an overtly extremist political view. The hundreds of other people I know are for the most part moderate - whether they are Democratic, Libertarian, or Republican - they are all for the most part moderate. Who are these extremists? Not what you've heard in the news or heard a politician elude to . . . but real people - your neighbors, your family & friends, etc,? Do you think the media and the politicians are taking a very small political view and blowing it up for their own personal gains? Again, who and where are these people?

I can understand what you are saying. The vast majority of people are moderates, something the people in Washington do not seem to understand. I cannot think of anyone I know well of the top of my head who I would call an extremist.

Oh? "Real people" don't compose the posts you read here?
