That more people believe the sound bytes of talk radio than I ever imagined.

I already knew that a lot of Conservatives can't stand Liberals and vice versa. However, what surprised me was the huge amount of questions posted that are just designed to talk down about the ideas or practices of a certain Republican/Democrat (or sometimes all of them clumped together). I mean, this is America, and people are allowed to say what they want, but criticizing somebody without offering your own idea of how things should be done is pathetically useless.

That most people do not want to have honest debate.
Notice how man quest begins with " Why do neocons....." or "why are libs so....."
Also, we use hypocrisy on the OTHER side to justify hypocrisy on our side. When one person write about Rosie, a response will include something about Ann Coulter, or Rush. Whether either statement is entirely true does not matter, you don't justify bad behavior by showing other bad behavior.
Finally WAY too much name calling. I am not saying I am not guilty of most, if not all of the things I mention.

How uneducated and inexperienced most of these people are on matters relating to politics. Too many sound bite questions for me to consider serious questions to answer, and usually questions that obviously are soliciting specific responses; hence, biased.
Good question from you however!

About 90% of the posts here are people bashing each other without real substaance. Even those who claim to be above the childish behavior.

I think the diversity of the people represented here. We have them from the extremes on both sides to the middle of the roaders. The extremes are what keep us on our toes.
It makes for some good arguments, that's for certain.

Nothing surprises me. Internet forums will always be a magnet for partisan hacks and idiotic trolls whom would otherwise not be taken seriously in the outside world.

I was surprised by two things
1) the rudeness of people who do not agree with your opinion (from both sides)
2) That some people actually prefer to silence those who have different opinions (hence the many blocks and violations)

That most people here are trolls, and more then half of those claim to be conservative. In the manner of Coulter, they act like morons and children insulting people. Being a conservative myself, i seem to be in the minority here, as i am able to actually hold a fact filled discussion with someone on the left without resorting to name calling and childish behavior.

That there's a helluva lot more dung flinging, trolling, cloning and malicious reporting than THINKING.
It's not about "thinking;" it's all about the slur, the insult, the entertainment than resolving any kinds of issues.
