What will you do?

I think that I would do the best that I could with the time that I had. My first few hours would be spent listing the most important items that could be achieved in one month. Then I would set out to get the job done. It would not be a witch hunt, but to get things done that needed to be settled. Take away large paychecks, at least for one month, by donating my own and my cabinet members and staff to those people most in need. I would try to urge others to do the same. I would try to lead by example and show others that things could be accomplished in a short amount of time, if people set their minds to do it. I am sure that nothing "earth shattering" would be accomplished but it would be a start. A God know's our government needs to be cleaned up and someone needs to start somewhere, so why not at the top spot?

What is the use of being a President for one month or 5 yrs in India. Nothing good can be done as President appears to have no real power here; he has to follow the advice of Cabinet .
Only if Constitution is changed making President powerful enough, some better things if wanted can be achieved.

Close down all schools; fire the administrators and put all teachers on paid leave while the educational system was rebuilt from the ground up.

Push through a constitutional amendment that separates business from state.

Imprison Bush and Cheney at Gitmo.

End 'don't ask, don't tell', and allow homosexuals to openly serve in the military.

Cut the defense budget in half; redistribute that money to programs to help the poor afford necessities, like housing, healthcare, and education.

I'd reintroduce humility, empathy and compassion to the White House, reestablish to the presidency the concept of president as public servant, and tell all the multibillion dollar corporations who currently rule the world to go **** themselves. I doubt I'd last a month.

Invade Iran and Syria, clean out all the nuclear plants and nuclear paraphernalia, pull out of those two countries as well as Iraq and Afghanistan, do some training exercises with the military, then invade Korea, clear out the nukes, install democratic government then peace out of there. If there's time do same for China. Then upgrade airport security and border security.

What could you do in a month? I guess I'd take Jessica Alba up in the Space Shuttle for some zero G "fun".

Well, I would set a deadline and a time-line for pulling out of IRAQ and personally get involved in Palestine/Israel conflict and I am sure I can get it done.

Set a commission to address our shortcomings in our foreign policy.

Commission to address our rising taxes.
Commission to address our competitiveness against foreign nations and how to combat job losses in this country.

Put Libby in Jail Again.

IMHO,

I'd declare myself president for life first. Second I would have Rottenham Clinton publicly tortured for a few days then left to rot in the sun.
Next I would start my program of putting employers of illegals in prison.
